The toy has 5 vibration settings: high continuous, low continuous, slow pulses, fast pulses, fast back and forth surges. You can cycle through these settings without turning off the toy, which is nice because you never have to turn the toy off during use to switch from pulses to steady vibrations. To turn the toy off, just press and hold the power button for about 2 or 3 seconds.

The base can be a little difficult to get off, but not impossibly so. Curvy needs 2 AAA batteries to function. Battery insertion is clearly marked and easy to figure out. Once batteries are inserted, screw the base back on and you're reading to have fun. Curvy is waterproof and adds a unique aspect to shower and tub play.

Curvy is on the quiet side, but it's not silent. If you're embarrassed by people knowing when you're having fun, you might want to look into a quieter toy. I most often use a Hitachi, which is very loud, so by comparison Curvy is silent.

The Curvy is very easy to care for and low maintenance. To clean the Curvy, simply wash with warm soap and water. To sterilize the toy (for partner use or other sharing) simply wipe the toy down with a 10% bleach solution.
As stated before, do NOT use silicone lube with this toy! Curvy is a silicone toy, and silicone lube can hurt the toy. Stick to natural lubrication or a water-based lube (there is a huge variety right here on EF, go look!) with your Curvy ToyFriend to keep it in its pristine condition.
The toy has no charging kits and it not rechargeable. However, if you invest in rechargeable batteries, you won't have to worry about that.

Curvy comes in a box with a clear window that provides a lovely view of the toy. This packaging is not discreet and I wouldn't use the box for storage. However, the packaging is very nice, it looks high quality. The toy comes with a plastic stand that you can use to display Curvy.

I really love my Curvy as a clit vibe, not so much for g-spot stimulation.
