I have to say, when I got the Gyrating Lover, I was really skeptical about it. I own a couple of other wand vibrators, and, while they work, there was still something missing. So, when I saw this one, I figured I would try it and either like it or not. Well, I am so glad I did like it! It does indeed gyrate as advertised, and it does it like crazy. However, there is NO thrusting function as described. I was not upset by that at all, as I was mesmerized by the extreme gyrations that were strongly present! Since it runs on 2 C batteries, it does pack a punch, which I soon found out the first time I used it! Sometimes I need more stimulation than usual just to have a 'normal" orgasms, so when I used this and I actually squirted.....yes, squirted, not once, not twice, but three times in a row... I was blown away, and actually kind of embarrassed! I have never had a squirting orgasm before, so I was a little freaked out because I wasn't sure what was going on! That is when I figured out that my Gyrating Lover had gyrated the juice right out of my G-spot! Sorry to be graphic, but it does paint a picture, right? Oh, it left me feeling oh so satisfied, and I actually had to force myself to stop because I just kept squirting over and over again, which just kept arousing me more and more! The Gyrating Lover is made out of PU coated plastic, which is smooth with an almost satiny finish to it. It is also waterproof. It works very well! It is also phthalate free, so it is body safe. It actually has no plastic odor like I had expected it to have, too. I actually really loved the soft feel of the material itself because it just seemed to really glide so well when I used it to thrust with. I found that I did not need any lube at all with it, which was really nice, considering that most every other vibe I own needs some kind of lube. I think the texture itself is good for all level of users, from beginners all the way to advanced. The toy is so universal and friendly. Polyurethane (PU) is considered to be hypoallergenic, so it does not promote the growth of mold or bacteria, but you should still always clean and dry it thoroughly before and after each use. Better safe than sorry!

The design itself is pretty basic. It is a wand, so it is a straight shape with an almost blunt tip. The size itself is not intimidating at all, so all users would be comfortable using it. It is 8 inches in length with 6.5 inches of insertable pleasure. It has a circumference of around 4 inches, and 1 1/4 in diameter. I actually found the size itself to be perfect for me. It was very comfortable to use and not as girthy as I had almost expected it to be. I will go out on a limb here, though, and say that if you are a "size queen" and like humongous toys, you might not like this one. For some of the rest of us, it is just right!

The vibrations are located along the entire wand, which is nice. This gives the toy that extra kick, instead of being focused on the tip or the middle portion only, like most toys. It has variable vibrations that go from high to low with a simple twist of the dial, which is located on the bottom of the vibe. All settings worked well for me, and I even found that the high setting was a bit too much. So, I dialed it down a bit and it worked amazingly! I found it to be a little on the noisy side for my tastes. I thought there would be a little insert to keep the batteries from smacking against the inside of the vibe when in use, but there wasn't. That is easily remedied, though, by slipping a piece of paper around the batteries to insulate it and make it quieter. The control itself is easy to use. Sometimes, when using a toy, you can accidentally turn the dial off and that gets annoying, but I didn't have to worry about that with this. There is actually enough length so that you really don't have to worry about using the dial as leverage. It is also waterproof, and it performs beautifully when wet. There is a small seal around the battery compartment that keeps water out well. It runs on 2 C sized batteries, so there is power to go around.

I have found that it is easy to care for the Gyrating Lover. It is very easy to clean. You just simply wash it with warm water and soap, or your favorite toy cleaner, and then you are all ready to go! I would recommend using water-based and/or silicone based lubes only, so that you maintain the integrity of the material and prolong toy life. As always, wash between uses, and always remember to take your batteries out between uses to save battery life and keep your toy from being damaged. If you plan on sharing this toy, or any toy, it is safer to use a toy cover or a condom to prevent any germs or bacteria from gathering.

Oh, I think I love this wand/vibe! I had never had a squirting orgasm before I used this, and I experienced it two nights in a row, so I am sold on it! It is absolutely one of the best vibes I have ever used, and I think I might wear it out from overuse! I keep it close by so I can grab it when I need it!
