Normal rings aren't this fun

The Engagement Finger Ring by Evolved is a small but powerful bullet with a unique control mechanism: the control button is on a ring attached to the bullet by a cord. Aside from the short battery life, this bullet is perfect for use on its own or with other toys.

Use

The Engagement Finger Ring is one of Evolved's Speeding Points Armor Piercing bullets. The difference is that the control button (which is located on the base of the bullet in the basic model) has been placed on a plastic ring. This ring is in turn attached to the bullet by a roughly two-foot long cord.

This bullet is unique in that it can be used internally - normal bullets aren't able to be used internally for obvious reasons (without first putting the bullet in a condom for retrieval purposes). But since this bullet is attached to a cord, it can be inserted vaginally and easily retrieved. The connection between the cord and the bullet seems sturdy, but care should still be used. Anal use is NOT recommended, despite the cord.

The bullet can also be placed in the base of dildos that have holes for bullets in them, so you can use the ring to control the vibrations instead of reaching down to push a button on the base of the bullet. The length of the cord is fairly generous, so while your hand can't be up by your face while using this bullet, you do get much more freedom of motion while remaining in control of the vibration setting.

Material / Texture

The bullet itself is made of a dark pink plastic. The finish is velvety and smooth. The ring is made of the same material, although the control button is made of clear plastic. The wire that connects them is made of translucent pink plastic. Plastic is body-safe, non-toxic, and phthalates-free. It is compatible with all kinds of lube: water-based, silicone-based, and oil-based (but, as always, be careful with oil-based lubes, as they themselves are not condom-compatible or vagina-compatible). There's an almost invisible seam along the length of the bullet, but it isn't noticeable during use.

Design / Shape / Size

The Engagement Finger Ring has a curvy, hourglass-like shape that tapers to a point at the tip (which is great for pinpoint stimulation). The bullet itself is about two inches long. The battery cap is opposite the tapered tip and is the piece of the bullet connected to the wire. There is a rubber o-ring housed under the battery cap (which screws down very tightly, making this bullet solidly waterproof). Care has clearly been taken to seal the connection between the bullet and the wire with clear plastic, so the entire assembly is waterproof.

The ringer ring itself is open, so it should expand to fit larger fingers. I have small-ish fingers and had some trouble with it slipping off. The control button is conveniently located on the top of the ring. The easiest way to wear it is on the index finger: that way you can rotate it so you can easily hit the button with your thumb.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The bullet, like all of the bullets in this Evolved line, has five settings:

1) zzzzz
2) ZZZZZ
3) zz...zz...zz...zz...zz
4) z.z.z.z.z
5) z.zzzz.z.zzzz.z.zzzz

For a bullet vibe that is not connected to a battery pack, the Engagement Finger Ring is very powerful. It does run on watch batteries, so it isn't going to rock anyone's world, but it is more than possible to get off with the level of vibration it provides. It is also excellent for warm-up, foreplay, or teasing.

Like the Speeding Bullets Hollow Points, the battery life of the Engagement Finger Ring is extremely short. Fortunately, the folks at Evolved were good enough to include an extra set of three watch batteries.

Care and Maintenance

Since the bullet is made of plastic, it cannot be sterilized, so a condom must be used if sharing with a non-fluid-bonded partner. Soap and water or toy cleaner/antibacterial wipes are perfectly sufficient for cleaning purposes. Care should be taken when washing not to get water into the battery compartment of the bullet, but as long as you screw the battery cap down tightly, that shouldn't be a problem. Plastic won't pick up a lot of lint or dust, so the bullet does not really have to be stored in any particular way.

Packaging

The Engagement Finger Ring comes in a very small box. Inside the box, there's a plastic insert where the bullet rests. Underneath the insert is where the extra set of batteries is located. The entire box is encased in a clear plastic package; this box has the Evolved logo and the features of the toy printed on it. The whole package is a little over three inches long, so there's not a lot of waste. I've been using the box for storage.

I had been wondering about this sort of toy, especially the ring part. It's too bad the batteries don't last long. This is a darn good review, toygirl, so thanks for it. Smile

Thanks guys! It's such a great idea with cute execution and the only problem really is the battery life. I feel like if they made it a little bigger it could run on 1AAA and that might solve the problem.
