Smooth delight - traditional vibrator by Doc Johnson - review by unfulfilled

This is a slim traditional style vibrator from Doc Johnson that isn't really designed very well. It is too small to be efficient for vaginal insertion, and it's too hard for clitoral stimulation so I think it's best used as a warm-up to other toys. I don't know about you, but I don't particularly like to have a toy around that is considered a warm-up toy to another more powerful toy. When I'm looking for a toy, I want something that can deliver on its own, and sadly this failed miserably.

It is best suited for those who appreciate thin toys with non-phallic shapes and do not require much power to achieve climax.

It is made out of hard plastic which is considered an 8 on Edens safety scale. Plastic is considered to be a food-grade material, hypo-allergenic, latex free, and phthalates free. The material is hard and has no flexibility to it at all. The outer layer is shiny and sleek.

It is best for those that like hard, no texture toys. The only part that has texture to this toy is the bottom and that's only for better gripping capabilities. So if you enjoy texture to your toys, or flexibility I'd pass this one up.

It does not have any smell to it at all.

The Smooth Delight by Doc Johnson to me looks like a white tampon looking toy. It starts out small with a non phallic shaped head and then gets smaller and then gradually increases in size.

It is 7" long with an insertable length of 5 3/4". It is 2 1/2" around at the top head and less than 2 1/4" under the head. It is 3 3/4" at the largest bump. The rest of the toy measures 3 1/2" around.



It is small enough to fit in a purse or bag if you decide to take it with you while traveling. Just be sure to take the battery out first.

It is a small, petite traditional vibe and is not for those who enjoy larger toys. I actually prefer smaller toys, but this is even too small for me. It is not long enough for efficient vaginal insertion and overall was just a bust for me.

Here's a picture of it compared to the turbo glider that was offered free with purchase a few weeks ago for those of you who happened to get it. As you can see, it's even thinner than the turbo glider.

It requires 1 AAA battery that was not included. It is supposed to be considered waterproof, but it does not have a waterproof seal on the inside of the battery cap so unless you make sure the cap is tightened properly, I wouldn't consider it to be water-proof. I'd consider it to be more along the lines of splash proof and sufficient if used in the shower, but not submerged in a bath tub.

It has one push button control that is very easy to use. Just push the button to cycle through the seven functions. The functions are as follows:
1: low steady vibration
2: medium steady vibration
3: high steady vibration
4: starts off high and then goes low and then goes back up
5: fast pulse on-off-on-off
6: one long pulse followed by four fast pulses and then repeats the process
7: solid vibration on high

After the 7th function, push again and the vibe will turn off. With this toy, it does not have the ability to go back to a previous setting so if you miss a setting that you like, you have to go through them again until you find it. I prefer the steady vibrations, but even they are not strong enough for me. I'd consider the highest to be at the most a 3 Vroom. I prefer products that are 4 and 5 Vrooms. The buzzy vibrations can be felt throughout the entire toy, but best felt in the middle.

It is far from a quite toy. It can be heard by someone with you in the room, and is not considered to be whisper quite.

This can easily be cleaned with antibacterial soap and hot water, by wiping down with isopropyl alcohol, or using your favorite toy wipe or cleaner. Water, oil, silicone, or hybrid-based lubricants can be used with plastic so that's nice you can use any lubricant of your choice.

I didn't really care for this so I have it stored in a shoebox on the top shelf of my closet with several other products that I consider to be just decent sex toys.

I really like small toys, but this just didn't do anything for me. It's too weak to accomplish much, and the toy did not offer any flexibility for me. It's just a straight toy that didn't work with my anatomy. I received this as a free gift with purchase several months ago so I'm not out any money on this toy so that is a plus, all I've wasted was some time working with the toy to determine that it's just not the toy for me.
