The Key Nyx is a discreet vibrator by Jopen. Nyx can be used as an all over body massager or can be gently rubbed back and forth over the clitoris. The vibrator can also be pleasurable by rubbing over nipples, neck and any other sensitive part of the body. The Nyx is wonderful for any couples, or just to use solo. Since it is waterproof, Nyx can be brought into bath/shower for a little play time. Since there is no flared base at the end or anything to stop it, I don't recommend using the vibrator anally.

NYX was the goddess of the night, one of the ancient Protogenoi (first-born elemental gods).

Nyx has an all over plastic body with a removable sleeve. The material that the sleeve is made out of is this soft, smooth silicone. Silicone has a safety rating of ten on Edenfantasys, and plastic has a safety rating of eight. Silicone is also the safest material to choose from for your body, It can be 100% sterilized and can be shared. Thankfully there is no smell or taste to the Nyx.


I absolutely love the smooth feeling of the sleeve, it feels so velvety in my hands. I also love how the sleeve has these long lines across both sides of the vibrator. The lines definitely add some texture when rubbing on any sensitive area. Not too much texture that its painful but enough to feel that it's there. The texture is more for beginners. I don't think this would be all that great for anyone who prefers a lot of texture.

The design of the vibrator is discreet looking. I don't think people would know what it was if they found that just laying around. The design is almost futuristic looking to me. I really am attractive to the design of the vibrator. It is very unique to me and I don't know of any other toy that has that kind of design to it. The plastic body has a glass like look to it. It looks like glass, especially when it is inside the silicone sleeve. The cap that is on the end of the Nyx is absolutely adorable! It has the word key and a little key above the word.




The size is not too big. I do wish the size was bigger. The total length is 5" long. You can insert the vibrator, which is around 5" also. The circumference is 3 3/4", not very thick at all. So as you can see the size isn't very intimidating. That is why I would get a little bit bored of the Nyx quickly. The Nyx is perfect for beginners, advanced users might need to look somewhere else.

The Nyx is all controlled by a push button which is located at the front. To turn it on, just simply push it once. Push it again to go through the different functions until it goes back to the first one. To turn it off, simply hold down the button until it turns off. The vibrator runs off one Aa battery(not included). Twist the cap off, pop in the battery and twist the cap back on and you are ready to go! It can be a pain in the butt to twist the cap off and on.


The Nyx has five different patterns.


The vibrations are all located throughout the body. The strongest vibrations are at the end of the vibrator. The Nyx has a pointy end, the pointed end makes it perfect for clitoral stimulation. I noticed that when the sleeve is off, the vibrations are much stronger than before. The sleeve can be a little bit difficult to remove sometimes. For me, the easiest way to remove the sleeve is by pulling the vibrator out some and then pinch the end , pulling the rest of the vibrator out of the sleeve.

It can be a little difficult when it comes to cleaning the Nyx. You have to remove the sleeve to clean the vibrator. Also, you have to get in the little cracks and under the cap. To boil the sleeve, of course make sure the sleeve is off the vibrator. Boil for at least three minutes.
Other ways to clean the vibrator:
~Toy spray and/or wipes
~Antibacterial soap and water
~Put sleeve in TOP dishwasher rack

The only lubricants to use with the Nyx is water-based lubricant ONLY!
I store my Nyx in the pouch it came with.

The packaging that the Nyx comes in is so pretty. It's basically a box that has a cover on it. Slide the cover off and then you have a box. The box opens like a book, and inside the book is the beautiful Nyx. With the Nyx is a little plastic bag that has instructions, the five pattern sheet and the folded toy pouch. On the back of the box it talks a little about the vibrator. You can use the box for storage but I prefer the toy pouch it came with. This would make a really cute gift but the package isn't really that discreet.

The toy pouch disappoints me a little. I thought it would be a more luxury feeling. It does feel velvety but kind of cheap feeling at the same time. I am however really glad that the Nyx came with a toy pouch.
