Astrovibes Taurus - traditional vibrator discontinued by Fun Factory - review by laurenrs

This toy is wonderful. I love the fact that there is a toy that is shaped after a bull, my astrological sign for Taurus, and on top of that, it's in a lovely orange color! It is a simple, traditional vibrator with a turn dial base that allows the toy to function on low to high vibration settings. I read of other users having an issue with the turn dial turning to easily, but for me, this was not the case.

The packaging was simple, and along with the vibe was a tiny packet of lube that expired in 2008, which is no biggie. It is made of a nice, semi-plush silicone material that I found to be flexible, but still very firm. I didn't experience any smell what so ever.

This vibrator is about 6 inches insertable length, and is 1 and 1/2 inches in girth at its widest towards the end. The head, or bull, portion at the top is not as wide as the base portion of the vibrator. The nose may be too pointy for sensitive users, but I honestly didn't think so, even while thrusting.

The Astrovibes Taurus takes two AA batteries, which took me about two minutes of trial and error to place in correctly, there were no + or - symbols to guide. The bottom simply pops off with a little force and you can insert the batteries. After twisting the base back on correctly, turn the dial to a desired vibration. On the 'vroom' scale I would rate it a 3-4. On the 'bee' scale I give it a 4. In my opinion, it is pretty loud, even under the covers, or across the room. It is not discreet.

All in all, I love my new little friend; it is whimsical and fun, cute and powerful. I'm glad I made the decision to buy it, and for such a low price, how could I not? It definitely did its job.

This vibe is okay because of the strong, rumbly vibrations. I have used it less than a handful of times. This is because it is not waterproof, and it makes cleaning it harder. I prefer a more plushy silicone, and this is more firm. Plus, the twist dial is a hassle as I prefer push button. I do not regret the purchase. I still love the design and color.
