Roulette Croupier - g-spot vibrator discontinued by Evolved Novelties - review by PassionQT

The Croupier by Evolved Novelties was my first toy purchase from this company, and it certainly won't be my last! In fact, I just placed an order for one of their rabbit-style vibrators which I can't wait to try it out. If cost isn't a deciding factor for you, then anyone can benefit from having such a superior toy in their collection. Geared toward a female user, the Croupier gently stimulates the G-spot and/or the entire vaginal canal.

I'm not quite sure what makes "European Silicone" more special than silicone manufactured anywhere else in the world. I'm lead to believe that this distinction is made to differentiate it from anything made in China or elsewhere, as European-made toys seem to have a better reputation for durability and quality. Silicone blows away the competition in safety, making it ideal for a more sensitive user who requires a non-porous, body-friendly material. It will also stay warm if you wish to heat it in a bit of hot water before usage. This toy had very little scent, but I thought I detected a faint smell which reminded me of the Sanrio store, which I just love!

I was instantly impressed by the velvety-soft, matte, smooth texture of this pretty pink toy. To the touch, it feels a bit rubbery, yet it has just enough drag to provide a little friction during use, even with lube applied. Extra sensation is provided by a single, rounded-edge ridge which loops around the toy from top to bottom, but is mostly concentrated on the area that comes in contact with g-spot or the topside of the vagina. It vaguely reminded me of an upside heart overlay with a smooth, raised edge. You'll see what I mean if you purchase this toy.

The first time I gazed upon the Croupier, it had me thinking of an over-sized index finger with fatty rolls, motioning me to "come hither and experience the pleasure I am about bestow on thee!" It's very modern, stylish, sleek, and futuristic. Toy design certain has "evolved" into something better and Evolved Novelties is leading the way!

From tip to base, the Croupier measures 8 inches, a nice, average, non-threatening size. The 5-inch insertable shaft almost looks like it is wrapped in a heart-shaped taco that wraps around approximately three-quarters of the 1-3/4 inch total diameter of the toy. It is somewhat on the thick side, but I like that feeling of fullness, although for a beginner, it might take some getting used to. The rounded tip is curved to rub over the G-spot without causing any irritation to the delicate tissue.

Encased in a heavy-duty white plastic handle with pink trim is the Roulette control dial, which reminded me of a piece of pink peppermint swirl candy. On the bottom of the handle is the "Evolved" name, etched on a piece of small pink plate.

The control dial is recessed in the handle, which makes it difficult to accidentally change the speed, or even worse, turn it off completely! There are little ridges on the dial to prevent it from slipping while making adjustments. Turning the knob cycles through consistent levels of vibrations, which can be felt all along the shaft, but primarily in the tip, where the bullet/motor is located. The vibrations are powerful, but not overwhelming, which is what I prefer. I want to have the option of warp speed, even though I may not use it regularly.

Two-AA batteries provide adequate, but not mind-blowing, power to this toy and are accessed with a simple twist-off motion of the handle. However, you must make sure that the notches align properly when replacing the handle for it to close securely. A black gasket waterproofs the toy, but I cannot attest to that as I don't use mine in that manner.

The noise at the highest setting is moderate, which backs up the sturdy construction of the toy. Under the covers, it was barely noticeable.

Caring for the Croupier requires a few simple steps if you want the toy to last. First of all, don't throw away the award-winning packaging! It is ideal to store the toy in so that it doesn't come in contact with lint, other toys, etc... The clear case (about 8.5 x 3 x 3 inches) is made of a hard plastic with a lid that latches on securely. It is embellished with a feminine floral design, pertinent product information, and is the only thing about this toy that is made in China.

If additional, non-naturally produced lubrication is needed, be sure to use a water-based one. I find that with most silicones that grab, I need to use a little extra lube.

The lack of an overly embellished surface makes it very easy to clean with hot soapy water and antibacterial soap. I recently purchased an antibacterial toy cleaner that is great to spritz on this toy before and after play, but I still like to dip the insertable portion in boiling water on occasion to thoroughly sterilize it.

Obviously, Evolved Novelties has put a lot of thought in to the design of this toy. It shows, it feels, it performs like a fine-tuned instrument. Every collector should own at least one of this line's unique and ergonomic toys. I'm giving it four-stars, because it should be a 3-AA battery toy with more power packed in there!

I'm a speed demon, so I enjoyed this toy best on the high, thrusting it in and out of my pussy, banging it against my cervix (and its soft enough not to hurt it). I would then slow down and apply manual pressure to my abdomen until I felt the curved tip of the toy. Personally, I'm not a big g-spot fanatic, so I concentrated my efforts on pounding myself and felt like I had just won a lucrative hand of poker thanks to the Croupier!
