True love honey bunny - rabbit vibrator discontinued by Evolved Novelties - review by Airen Wolf

I like the idea of a rabbit vibe but have found very few that actually fit my body. I need a bunny that is easily positioned or my clitoris gets no lovin'. I also love a filling vibe that can reach the entire length of my vagina; so the Honey Bunny by Evolved Novelties seemed to be a perfect fit. The problem was, like many reviewers who save up their points I got greedy and ordered the whole line of Evolved Novelties products. I admit it was the amazing metal box each toy arrives in that made me jump when they went on sale. The result was I had so many new vibes that I put this one to the side and tried out the ones I knew were going to be a great 'fit'. After many months I finally went on a clean house spree and uncovered my dusty little Honey Bunny.

I have received and really liked the L'amour Flutter even though the shaft rotation was weak and ineffectual. I got out the Honey Bunny and washed it off with warm water and soap. You could also use a 10% bleach and water solution or a commercial preparation.
The box says Honey is waterproof and I can attest to the fact that after a thorough washing the battery casing was bone dry.

The Honey Bunny measures in at a whopping 8 inches in total length with about 5.25 of those inches being insertable. The shaft is about 5.25 inches around it's widest point. It has a large round head which makes it gentle to even the most sensitive cervix and vaginal wall. It will apply dull pressure to the G spot but the shaft is flexible so you won't be able to get really hard pressure in that area easily. Just under the round head are a series of ridges that are fairly firm, despite the flexibility of the soft TPR, because there is a large bullet vibe located there. After the bullet are two more ridges before the TPR slides over the firm plastic handle/battery casing.

The bunny is located near the base of the toy and measures just over 4 inches in total length. It is attached to the vibe via the TPR covering and is very flexible. I have pulled and twisted on the bunny and the cord running visibly into the battery casing has never moved. In my estimation it would be very difficult to over extend or break this cord. The bullet inside the bunny is less powerful than the shaft bullet but it really has some kick to it! The ears are long and vibrate super fast for a light tickling sensation to the clitoris, or if your body is built to be able to insert the shaft and have the bunny body connect to your clit it will buzz you with some amazing power. I like turning the bunny over and using the body as a clitoral stimulator and then use the shaft afterwards as a thrusting toy. The bunny's tail is a large nub on it's butt and it also makes a great contact point for the clitoris, nipples, scrotum, you name it!

The handle screws off to reveal the battery casing which holds two AA batteries. This toy is extremely sensitive to battery power so be sure your batteries are fresh and the cap is tightly screwed on. The bullets run simultaneously but the shaft bullet is powerful and throbbing while the bunny bullet is less throbby and more buzzy. If your clit prefers throbbing rather than buzz the head of the shaft might be your best choice. I like using the head of the toy on my clit with the bunny tickling my bum.

The True Love Honey Bunny is a traditional three speed vibrator but the beginning speed is actually more than enough to get me off if I am excited and ready. The medium speed is what most vibes consider high and the high speed is out of control! You have to cycle throught he speeds to turn the bunny off which is a downer. The toy is about moderate on the noise scale. It can be heard outside a bedroom door, barely, if it is lying on the bed on high speed. If inserted the noise is considerably less but you will not be able to use it in a room with a sleeping partner without them knowing it!

You could use this toy as an anal toy provided you make sure the bunny acts as a safety stop. You would also need to use a condom over the shaft for cleanliness. Personally, I think EF has plenty of anal toys available that are better than this one but to each his own!

Care should be taken when using the shaft of this toy as a thrusting dildo as the bunny can bruise the sensitive tissues of the clitoris. I solved this issue by turning the toy slightly to either side so that the bunny connected with my thighs. The shaft is large and could be rather intimidating to vaginas that prefer slimmer toys but the TPR is very forgiving and with some good quality lube it is pretty easy to take.
Speaking of lube TPR is safe with any type of lube you prefer but if you have concerns you should test a small inconspicuous area before slathering it on.

I love the vigorous nature and power of the vibes these two bullets give but they can suck dry a set of batteries in a ridiculously small time. I usually use the toy in roughly 45 minute to 1 hour shots and can only get about two sessions in before I notice a sharp decrease in power. The time is actually less if using rechargeable batteries. Still, for me, there is no better toy for those times I need POWER.
I recommend you don't store barreries in this toy as it seems to continue to drain them even if it's turned off. A good battery leak would ruin this toy as well.

This is a larger toy and looks like what it is; a rabbit vibrator. It would need to be stored in something like a toy bag for complete discretion either in your bedroom or while travelling, as the box it arrives in has a cut out front to display the toy. The box is an excellent place to store the toy as is comes lined in thick foam to protect the TPR. Store the toy away from strong sunlight to preserve the jewel like tone of the toy.
After having it for over a year I haven't noticed any clouding or staining on my Honey Bunny, but another TPR toy that I left in the sun has begun to show some signs of degredation.

Despite getting a few different rabbits that are a bit more pricey I still find that this one is top of the toy box! I've yet to see any signs of wear and tear on the toy itself despite frequent use and frequent washing. The surface of the toy hasn't developed the sticky or oily film that indicated the materials are breaking down. It does seem to munch up battery power a bit more now a days but that could just be because I have switched to rechargeable batteries.
Either way I love my Honey Bunny!
