Rock star Janis has powerful multiple speeds. There are no specific settings for each of them. Rather, the speeds increase incrementally as the controller dial is twisted. I've tried several times to listen to the vibration sounds to determine if there are any distinct speed levels. From what I was able to hear after many attempts, I found five basic speed levels but they are not distinctly noticeable. The controller dial is at the very bottom of the vibrator. The dial also functions as the on/off control. This dial, which is incorporated into a rounded ball, is located on the very end of the battery cap. The ball is part of the vibrator's handle. It does take two hands to use Janis. The rest of the handle includes the battery cap. This total area is the lower one third of the overall vibrator length, just below the silver plating design. The battery cap easily unscrews. After popping in the two batteries, the cap screws right back onto the vibrator.

Rock star Janis is quite simple to care for. Since she's waterproof, cleaning can be done by using warm soapy water. Or you can use toy cleaner. Even cleaning wipes are an option. And be sure to only use waterbased lubes. Silicone or oil based lubes can damage the silicone surface of Janis. Also, take usual care in storing a silicone toy. Store separately from all silicone toys as well as other toys not made of ABS plastic. Keeping it separately stored insures that there will be no possible chemical breakdowns that can harm the silicone of Janis. Plus, some other materials may bleed color or melt onto Janis rendering her unusable. I keep all my toys safely stored by storing each in a baggie or pouch.
