This star provides great G-spotting but also worked well for clitoral stimulation. You could also use to stimulate other areas of the body such as nipples, etc. I wouldn't use this one for anal play as there is no flared base, and if you didn't have a good grip on the handle/ball, it could possibly get away from you. The toy isn't huge in size so it would work for most anybody and could be used alone or during partner play.

The shaft of the toy is made out of a smooth, flexible, odor free silicone. This part of the toy does attract fuzzies so you will want to wipe it down before use. The base of the toy is hard ABS plastic which has a velvety coating that the packaging calls velvet touch. The silicone and plastic base are separated by a plastic decorative studded silver band that really adds to the cuteness of the toy. This star is made out of food-grade material, hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous, and phthalates free.

The Rock star Janis has a unique and stylish design. The shaft of the toy is curved with a round ball on the end that tapers and then widens back down into the base. There is a round ball handle that is located at the end of the base of the toy and the bottom half of the handle turns as a dial to control the toy. The base of the toy screws off just above the silver decorative band to give you access to the battery compartment which is sealed off with a rubber o ring to keep water out. The rounded end at the end of the shaft of the toy is awesome for stimulating your G-spot and it definitely hit rock star status with me. It measures 7 1/2" in length, 3 3/4" insertable, 4 1/2" in circumference, and 1 1/4" in diameter. This rock star should work for beginners or more advanced users since it isn't huge in size. If you do not like stronger vibrations, this toy may be a little too much. This toy could be tossed in a purse if you wanted to carry it along with you and it won't take up too much room.

The vibrations are located in the end of the shaft of the toy and carry through the whole toy. The vibration strength is controlled from the ball handle at the base of the toy and are the buzzy variety. (The vibrations can be pretty intense on the higher setting and may be too much for some.) All you need to get this little star going is 2 AAA batteries. It isn't very loud at all so you don't have to worry about being overheard with Janis!

To clean, use warm water and soap or give it a wash down with your favorite toy cleaner. The shaft being silicone is the only part of the toy that can really be sterilized. I would take special care in making sure that you clean well around the seams where the silver studded decorative band meets the silicone and plastic. You will want to use water based silicone on this toy because using anything else could possibly damage the toy.

It arrived in a plastic box with a plastic tray that slides in and out in which the toy rests in and can be seen through the plastic. The package has a very pretty tattoo art design all over it that I love, and it gives you something pretty to store your toy in if you want. It will take up a little more room than just tucking the toy away in a drawer but will help keep the fuzzies away from your toy!
