California Exotic's Sweet obsession rapture is designed to cradle the clitoris in a soft, little silicone cup, covered in a plush carpet of silicone fingers. The fingers tickle and massage the clitoris and nipples very well, without any discomfort. The Sweet obsession rapture is also waterproof so the shower and tub are friendly territory. Noise won't be an issue either, because the SOR is very quiet. Anyone looking for a soft, tickling, medium buzz on the clit or nipples can enjoy this vibrator.

The Sweet obsession rapture vibrator is comprised of silicone and ABS plastic. The first four inches are silicone that has a matte finish and a silky feel. A word of warning, this silicone has a serious amount or drag on the skin and it's also a lint and hair magnet. At the end of the silicone finger there is a cup covered in soft, supple, silicone ticklers. The silicone is very soft and squishy so it didn't aggravate my sensitive areas. I have to tell you that the first inch or so where the cup is located is flexible silicone, so the edges of the cup can be manipulated and pinched together. The last two and a half inches are ABS plastic and house the battery and silicone controls. There is no odor to this vibe at all.

The design is really a six and a half inch silicone finger, curved at the end. The textured cup is a inch in diameter to cradle and tickle sensitive body parts. The little silicone ticklers on the interior of the cup tickle and massage the clit or nipples as the buzzy vibrations carry through them. I didn't find the texture too much or painful in any way. The vibrations rank around a three with this toy and are buzzy in nature. The five vibration patterns are unique in feel and set this vibe apart.

The Sweet obsession rapture is a slim, one and an eighth inch diameter and is six and a half inches long. I found it fit easily in my coat pocket. As a matter of fact, I accidentally turned it on while in my pocket and my husband who was standing four feet away was none the wiser. That's how quiet this toy is, so it would be excellent for those living in close quarters or needing discretion.

When the Sweet obsession rapture arrives, the included battery requires an eight hour charge. This vibrator uses an RCR2 Lithium battery. After charging, the battery is inserted with a single half turn of the ABS base. Inside the vibe there is a battery diagram to tell you the direction the battery needs to go. The controls are almost directly below the cup. Two buttons control this toy. The bottom is a dedicated on/off switch, the top is to control the levels of vibration - there are eight in all. Interestingly enough the vibration mode button will also turn on the vibe but it cancels out the memory feature. If you turn the toy on and off strictly by the bottom "on" button the toy retains the last speed or pattern visited. The eight levels follow.

1) High speed, buzzy vibration.

2) Medium speed, buzzy vibration.

3) Low speed, buzzy vibration.

4) Fast pulsing.

5) Back and forth pulse.

6) High pitch, fast pulses.

7) Fast, mini, pulses.

I had absolutely no problems with the waterproof capability of the Sweet obsession rapture so cleaning is easy. Simply wash with antibacterial soap and water and pat or air dry. Cleaning wipes may not be too effective for the cup of this toy. Because this toy is made of silicone, water based lube is the best option. Zip top bags are a great way to store toys individually, preventing damage.

While I like this toy, I don't love it. The only real flaw was the power this toy offered. The vibration and texture feel good, really good, it just can't get me all the way there. That's okay, but once I start pleasuring myself, I don't like to have to stop and grab another toy to finish. We're all different though, and something that's not quite strong enough for me may be perfect for someone else.
