Silky G features quiet vibes and a nice design

The Silky G is a well designed g spot silicone vibrator. The deep vibrations are focused in the tip. If you don't mind the seam or difficult battery tray then this might be the g spot vibe for you.

Silky G Package
The Fleur De Lis Silky G by Evolved is a great vibe which comes in hard plastic packaging which is strong enough to store it in if you like. The packaging comes with this ribbon on top and I'm not sure what it's used for. Perhaps to hang it for display in the store. I purchased the purple version and the color is pretty. The packaging is not really discreet because you can see what is inside. To open the package you screw off the base and slide the see through cover off. Then, you unscrew the vibrator itself and a plastic ring that holds the battery cap in place. Finally you remove the battery cap. If you want to store the vibrator in the packaging then you could probably throw away the little plastic ring otherwise it just gets in the way.
Silky G Package Details

The vibrator is made of silicone and plastic which are rated very high on the Eden Fantasys safety scale. Silicone is rated at 10, which is the highest possible. It's all food grade material, hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous and of course phthalates free. It doesn't smell or taste of anything. The base and battery cap are plastic. It measures about 7 3/4 inches total. It has a silver accent thick band all around the base and a silver logo on the battery cap. The battery cap screws off to expose the battery compartment. One thing I found annoying about this toy was the battery compartment. The Silky G takes 2 AAA batteries which are not included. The toy has this battery tray that you have to remove by pulling on a tab. You must seat them properly in the battery tray and insert the tray. Removing the batteries is also time consuming and unnecessarily difficult with the battery tray. I tried to turn the toy on with just sliding the batteries in and no battery tray. Surprisingly this worked so maybe this is worth trying if you find the tray too annoying.
Silky G Battery Tray

The shaft and tip are all silicone and feature an insertable length of about 6 1/4 inches. The shaft is flexible and has some larger ball shaped texture right before the tip. The largest diameter is about 1 1/2 inches. The tip is curved specifically for help with g spot stimulation. I did notice a seam right down the middle of the toy if you're seam sensitive you may want to feel this toy in person before purchasing it online. The toy is made of a velvety soft silicone so the seam is not as noticeable as a hard plastic seam. The toy is waterproof but I have not tried it myself. Because of the battery compartment opening I wouldn't recommend submerging this toy in water. There is a little plastic ring to keep water out, but it's a pretty expensive toy to risk ruining. Cleaning is easy with warm water and soap or toy wipes. Because this toy is made of silicone use only water based lubricants and if you want to share I recommend using a toy cover.
Silky G Size

To turn the toy on it's as easy as pressing the single button on the base. There are 3 settings of constant vibration, low, medium, and high which are accessible by pressing the same button. Everyone's sense of vroom is a little different, but let me try to describe it for you. On low I'd give it a good 2 vrooms, medium 3 vrooms and on high 4 vrooms. The vibrations in the Silky G are surprisingly quite deep and focused towards the g spot curved tip. This makes it perfect for pinpoint stimulation. Just keep in mind that the material is flexible so if you need pressure this is probably not the toy for you. This toy is very quiet for the powerful vibrations it puts out. To turn the toy off just cycle through the settings until it's off.
Experience
I got this to try external clitoral stimulation using the tip. I was excited to try it out because of the focused vibrations in the tip. Unfortunately it didn't work as I had hoped because I need more pressure and the flexibility of the silicone material was not helping. I have yet to find my g spot, so I do plan using it in the future to help with that.
Follow-up commentary
This is a good toy, but not as powerful as I had hoped. Now that I have had more experience with toys I would probably downgrade this toy to 3 vrooms instead of 4 which I initially gave it. It's a great quality toy. It's waterproof, made of silicone, and the vibrations are in the tip! It's just not strong enough for me. I would recommend this toy if you don't need strong vibrations and want to explore your g-spot.

Super review--you almost had me talked into it, but I do not like flexible tips.
  • Contributor: Sangsara
I just realized that this has a flexible tip- I already bought it cause it was silicone and NOT flexible which I require in rabbits but don't like in my g- spot toys
