Puregel sleeve - vibrator sleeve discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Sodom and Gomorrah

This good thought out product is brought to you by Cal Exotics. The beautiful PureGel Sleeve is a textured sleeve that can go over a vibrator either for added thickness or to add texture. It can be used by anyone for sensual play either in a couple setting or solo. It's magnificent for those really simple vibrators that have started to become boring. The lovely texture adds spice to other toys. The thick veining makes it be a wonderful and sexy experience.

The sleeve is made of jelly which rates a 2 on the Eden Safety Scale for materials. It had a light smell, but I didn’t notice it much. The product page states that this material is made out of poly vinyl chloride. It's pleasantly smooth but has a rubbery feel and scent. If you can’t stand smells though, you should always avoid jelly products. The texture is similar to thick veins but it’s nothing too daunting. It’s also flexible and soft.

The PureGel Sleeve was a different experience. It is a simple soft pink, somewhat see-through design. If you have one of those plain vibrators you can put this over it and get more of a realistic feel. It’s shaped similar to a cock. I hate to repeat from main product page but here are the sizes:

This toy doesn’t need any type of instruction manual. It’s easy to use and understand the concept. If you’re looking for added thickness or texture it performs well. I recommend using a condom or toy cover over it.

This toy is definitely porous, cannot be boiled or well cleaned like silicone toys. I recommend not to share it and to rely on the use of condoms or toy covers for better protection. I cleaned mine with mild soap and water before and after use. Another option is to clean it with a toy cleaner or toy wipes. The product pages specifically states to avoid the use of strong soaps on it and keep in a cool dark place. You can use any lube out there, it either being water-based or silicone. Watch out for your other toys though, I noticed the color of this toy tends to bleed.

The package of this toy could've been more discreet. The PureGel Sleeve comes in a plastic casing such as the one shown in the picture.

I tend to prefer toys that are more petite than this toy. The texture had a nice feeling to it though. I’ve learned now that jelly toys are more delicate and the color may bleed. The one I received started to bleed right away and almost ruined one of my other toys. I like to use it with a toy cover for added protection. I don't want to give up on jelly toys altogether because frankly some of these toys feel so good.
