The egg is pretty decent sized. I actually wanted the bullet but saw this first and got it. I doubt there's much difference between the two besides the size.
Speaking of the size, it could probably give some nice stimulation if you slipped it inside your vagina, given its size and power. However, there's nothing keeping liquid from getting inside the egg where the cord goes in, so put it inside a condom to keep it safe. Same goes for if you want to put it in your butt; the cord doesn't look good for retrieval so the condom ensures you can pull it back out without breaking the cord and losing the toy. Using a condom also lets you lube it up nicely to ensure easy entry without getting anything inside the egg.

The best use I've found with it is what most eggs and bullets are intended for - clitoral stimulation. Because of its size and power, you can simply hold it still, or move it around. It can be held on the clitoris during sex for additional pleasure, if you can hold it or find a way to keep it there. If you have some other dildos or vibrators, you can put one in your vagina, butt, or both, while playing with your clit with the egg. Having more areas pleased at once can make for quite a strong orgasm!

Not much to say on the texture and material. It's smooth plastic that glows if it sits under light long enough. There's no smell or taste and being smooth makes it great for beginners.

If I'm getting bullets or eggs, I like a simple design, which is exactly what this has. The egg is big (4 1/4" around) and so pretty easy to hold. The control pack is also a simple design and easy to hold. It's easy to hide, be it under a pillow, in a sock, or in the original package tucked away somewhere. I'm not sure about the pocket part, though. Despite my love of pockets and shoving things in them most of my pants can't fit much more than my cell phone.

I was pretty excited to get the Pkt Exotic Glow Egg. I've been wanting it since finding this site almost two years ago, but for some reason didn't get it. Now that I have it I love it so much.
It's the most powerful toy I've had, even on the lowest setting. The downside to that is it's kind of noisy, especially on the lowest. I don't know if it's just mine but it tends to rattle when it's set to the lowest speed. If you live with other people and have a music player on your computer that's frequently playing music at a loud volume, simply turning it on will probably fix that. Same goes for if you have a rattling air freshener.
The controls are easy enough. Just a simple disc that you turn to set the speed or shut it off. I thought mine was broken when first testing if it worked because of putting the batteries in the same way, but that was quickly fixed and it turned right on. I counted three speeds on it, which seems to be the typical number for multispeed vibes.
The only problem I've had with the controls is the control pack feels the same even if you hold it upside down. If you set down the controls and use both hands like I do, then grabbing for the controls to change speeds you might grab it wrong and change the speed in the opposite direction you want to. Not a big deal, though.

It's hard plastic, so of course it cleans easily. Be careful when cleaning though because it is not waterproof. There is nothing keeping anything from getting inside the egg where the cord goes in, as I previously mentioned. Cleaning with wipes or using a spray and wash cloth would work best for it. If lube is desired, any base lube can be used without worrying about damage, though again be careful not to get anything inside the egg.
Overall I think maintenance will be pretty simple for this. Proper care and I'm sure this will last for a while.

The packaging was really easy to open. I didn't have to get out the scissors and cut away at the plastic - and possibly the toy too. The two plastic pieces pull apart rather easily, and if you want to use it to store the egg it goes back together just as easily. There is a piece of cardboard that has a few good words about the toy, and the usual "sold as a novelty only, © this company" stuff. Behind the control pack is a little piece of paper with four picture instructions basically showing how to put in batteries and turn the disc.
