We purchased this as a replacement for a Hitachi Magic Wand that had broken. The lower price and our overall good experiences purchasing products from Eden gave us confidence in trying something new. We love buying our products online from Eden and that will not change, but contrary to some other reviewers, we found this particular product to be underwhelming.

If you have ever owned a Hitachi Magic Wand, you know why it has the reputation it does. Strong, silent, powerful vibrations that can make anybody orgasm within minutes. Ours got used several times a day, almost every day for four years. For a wand type massager, Hitachi has set the bar very high for years and it doesn't appear anyone is set to take the title of best wand massager away from them. From the ease of use, feel of the massager head to overall quality construction, the Hitachi Magic Wand is the gold standard of wand massagers.

So how does the Eden wand stack up? The good things are the quality construction, size, and overall feel of the product. The silicone head of the Eden massager is softer than a magic wand, but it has ridges which we found distracting. The variable speeds were nice, but the rolling button indents were not strong enough to keep the massager from changing speeds accidently when in use. We also found most of the slower speed vibrations to be less useful for its intended purpose, but that is our opinion coming from someone that is used to the more powerful vibrations of the Hitachi. And about those vibrations. Our best description is they are deeper, but not on the same pattern or as strong (even on high) as we are used to, so they left us wanting in that department also. And finally, the size of the massage head on the Eden massager is softer and smaller than our previous Hitachi, so it did not transmit vibrations as strongly. The silicone does offer a soft touch however which did feel nice.

But, the Eden massager does get the job done. Despite our personal preferences, it did produce some very good orgasms for us both. It took us both a little longer to climax, but it did finally get us there. It has a soft silicone head that is comfortable, variable speeds and was easy to use. We would classify it as a good first time wand for someone that may be scared of the power of the Hitachi Magic Wand, but it just wasn't our cup of tea.
