Travel with Vrrooom

The Travel Teaser is a good, practical buy. It's not super cute, realistic, or sexy, but it has got a good power level behind it and a pretty low volume. It's easy to use, clean, store, and perfect for travel. And with its simple look and versatile functions, you can't really go wrong. It's a great external vibe that will probably get you where you want to go, even if, like me, you sometimes have trouble getting there.
Strong and quiet, with a sleek, discreet look and easy-to-use functions.
Volume increases under water, detachable caps don't seem to improve the functions.

extremely useful review

The 7-Function Travel Teaser is a basic "pocket rocket" style of a vibrator meant primarily for clitoral stimulation. It works well inserted just a little bit into your vagina to add a little motion to your ocean, but ultimately this is an external vibe, meant for the clitoris, as well as basic muscle massage. Thanks to its small size, the Travel Teaser would be great for couples play, both for foreplay and assistance getting to the big moment. This is particularly true for gals like me who have trouble reaching orgasm without a nice, whopping extra "oomph" from a toy. The Teaser has seven different functions, from the light and gentle to the bold and feisty, and comes with 4 detachable heads to add or change the stimulation. It's also completely waterproof, meaning you can take it to the bath for a little extra fun.

Material / Texture

The material of the Travel Teaser is your basic hard plastic, with a smooth feel, and a nice bit of weight to it. I prefer hard plastic for clitoral vibes because it means the sensations are definitely going through, and you don't have to worry about having to push harder to get the intensity you're looking for. The Travel Teaser has a push button control on the very bottom, which makes it pretty easy to turn on, but you do have to cycle through all the functions to turn it off. What's also interesting is that it comes with four different textured nubs that cap on top; two different sets of small spikes, a rounded dome, and one with small, flatter circles. These might seem a little strange, and the spikes may be a bit intimidating, but ultimately I found that these were mostly to add a little diversity to the toy. The spikes seemed strange at first, but I started with a soft touch and eventually I found that I could apply more pressure with no discomfort. The small tips actually seem to do a good job of spreading the vibrations out.
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all
    • Smooth

Design / Shape / Size

The design for the Travel Teaser is a very basic pocket rocket design. It has cylindrical hard plastic with detachable tops and the control on the bottom. I like that the control is a button, instead of a twist bottom, which I see often. Even though you have to cycle through the different settings, it's easy to use and you're less likely to accidentally change the setting or turn it off.

As far as its design works for its name ("travel" Teaser), I'd say it lives up to the name "travel-friendly". This is definitely the kind of toy you can slip into your bag (or even your pocket) without having to worry about people noticing it. It's not that much bigger than a lipstick case, and its simple look and cute purple color probably wont make anyone who stumble upon it think "Hey, that looks crazy! What is it?"

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Travel Teaser has seven functions and performs those pretty well. It starts with a low continuous buzz, then medium, then high. After that, you have four pulsing settings. An escalating rhythm, short medium bursts, quick low bursts, then a succession of medium and high pulses. I quickly found my favorites, and although I think the lower settings could have a little more oomph to them, the high setting is a good, steady thrum to get you going.

The sound is pretty low, considering its power, but the volume did spike when I put it under water. In fact, the power seems to dull down a bit under water as well, and even after underwater use. The shower might not be a bad place for it, but as far as full-on underwater play goes, it might not rock your boat quite right. I was, however, glad to find it completely waterproof. It makes the toy that much more versatile, which is great.

Care and Maintenance

I love simple hard plastic toys because they're so easy to keep clean. A quick rubdown with warm soapy water, or a nice spritz with a toy cleaner and rag, and you've got a clean toy again. And because of its material, it isn't likely to pick up hair or lint from the floor, which can be really annoying come playtime and clean-up.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Personal comments

I read one review that said it was really loud, but I didn't have that issue at all. I actually have another rocket style toy that makes twice the noise, so this steady buzz wasn't an issue for me. It did, however, jump up a notch in the sound department when I put it under water, as well as after I took it out.
The attachable heads, for me, weren't the greatest of additions to the toy, though I do like using the small pointed spikes during foreplay. Very sexy.

It takes a lot to bring me to orgasm. In fact, without a nice strong toy it's pretty much impossible. If you're like me you know how crazy frustrating it can be, and how hard it can get to feel really good and turned on when it has been a while since you've had a smooth, not-fought-for orgasm. "Rocket" style vibrators are some of my favorite kinds of toys because they have a big enough burst of power without being obnoxiously loud, bulky, or hard to handle. The Travel Teaser is no exception. It's small (but I like its somewhat heavy feel) and packs a good little punch. It still takes a little longer to get to that happy place than I'd like, but it gets me there, and that's what's important to me.

My favorite functions were number 3 (the normal high intensity) and number 5 (a quick succession of medium intensity bursts). Number 5 is great for warming up. It has an erotic, pulse-like beat that gets me surprisingly turned on, then number 3 is great for the big stretch to orgasm.
Follow-up commentary
This quickly became my favorite go-to toy. Although I never really use the caps (they just don't seem to do too much) its variety is great and it works wonders almost every time. One bad factor is that one of the metal nubs came off at some point, which means it's no longer water resistant, and I wonder if I might get a little shock if I hold it the wrong way. I guess I overworked the poor thing. I'm not sure if this shows a low durability though, since using those caps that I don't like might have prolonged its life.
I still love it, and might get a new one to replace it very soon!
