Bubbly toyfriend - g-spot vibrator discontinued by Toyfriend - review by MiladyVixen

I got the Bubbly Toyfriend because a friend of mine has one and loves it, but I have to say I was not overwhelmed. The packaging is adorable, it would make for a cute gift and it was fun to open (plus it came with batteries, which I always appreciate). It's smooth (I recommend cleaning it before use, but that's a personal preference) and the "bubbles" at the top of the toy are a nice design feature; they feel very nice going in.

But once I started playing with it, my excitement dimmed a bit. The vibrations are not terribly strong. They aren't very weak, I've played with weaker toys, but I was expecting more in this particular case. For a specific example, I thought for sure that the highest setting could only be the second most intense, at most. Though I have to say I enjoyed the alternate functions, which I don't usually. The pulses and patterns were nice and it felt like they sometimes built to a stronger vibration force than the highest setting on its own. Also, you can turn the toy off by holding the power button for a few seconds, which is also how you switched functions (speeds, intensity, patterns, etc.) and I mucked that up a couple of times the first time I used the toy, thought that might be helpful information so you don't think the toy is broken for a brief second of panic like I did.

I used this with Sliquid's Sea lube and you have to remember to use water or oil based lube, as it's a silicone toy.

Overview: It was altogether a good toy, with decent, smooth texture, a fun design (both on the packaging and of the toy) and good functionality. If you're looking to get your socks blown off, this is not your toy, but it's a hell of a lot of fun and would probably be even more fun with a partner.
