The Wake up vibe can be used as an alarm clock or as a vibrator in manual mode. It is soft and silky. It actually does fit my anatomy and the vibrating "bump" hits me just right. It makes for a nice change from your normal discreet clitoral vibes and the phallic shaped insert-able toys. It really does make waking up an experience. It is't intended for use as an insert-able toy but you could use it for a minimal amount of insertion. When used manually you can use it for external labia and perineal area stimulation. It really doesn't work well as a massage tool for back rubs though. The shape lends to the clitoral stimulation to "wake you up".

The wake up vibe is made from silicone, it is hypoallergenic, nonporous, latex and phthalates free. It is free from any smells or tastes. It comes in pink, purple and black. The silicone is soft and velvety. It really does glide across your skin and it doesn't collect any lint or hair. The silicone is completely smooth and it has no textures. There is a seam that runs along the sides of the toy but it doesn't touch your skin with use and it didn't cause any issues.

The toy is shaped as an arch, the bottom of the arch has a raised "bump" where the vibrations are centered. This design fits perfectly with the female anatomy of your pubic arch and when you wear it the "bump" sits on or near your clitoris. The portion of the toy that sits next to your body is smooth and it has some slight indentations where the CE and x across the garbage can symbols are. The portion of the toy that is away from your body has the circular control panel and the display window. The top of the toy has the charging port that is covered with a silicone plug.

The Wake up vibe is a total of 5 inches long and it is 3 inches at it's widest which is near the top of the arch. It's thinnest point is at the clitoral bump which is 1 1/4 inches. It is approximately 1/4 to 1/2 inches thick at it's thickest. The Bump sits up 1/2 inch off of the toy. The bump is located on the immediate bottom of the toy. The wake up vibe fits nicely in the palm of my hand with the arch towards my fingers and the bump at the bottom of my pinky finger. It feels as if you have a remote control in your hand. It only weighs 12 ounces.

The front portion of the toy contains the display panel and an area that looks like it has a bulls eye. This is the circular control panel. It sits directly below the display. The display is in military time or a 2400 clock. The display shows you the time, if the alarm is on, if the toy is locked. It also shows you the vibration setting.

The control panel has an up and down button as well as a left and right button. The arrow button to the left is the set time button, the arrow button to the right is the set alarm button. The center of the large circle is the OK button or to turn the toy on in the manual setting. The up and down buttons scroll through the vibration patterns.

There is a locking feature, to unlock the vibe you press the center button 2 times fast and the key will be gone from the display panel. You lock the vibe in the same manner and the key will show up to tell you that it is locked.

To set the time you hit the left arrow for 2 seconds and the hours will start flashing, you then press the up and down arrows to set your time. Once you have the time set, you hit the center button to confirm.
To set the alarm, you hit the right arrow for 2 seconds, you then use the up and down buttons to set the alarm time and the middle button to confirm. When the alarm is set a bell will show up in the display panel. To deactivate the alarm you press the right arrow 2 times fast and the bell shape will be gone from the window. When you are wearing the vibe and it starts to wake you, you simply push the center of the button to turn it off. It doesn't have a snooze feature. It will vibrate a second time, I don't know the time frame but I hit it a second time and it didn't come back on.

The Wake up vibe has 6 vibration patterns. When you turn on patterns to decide which you would like for wake up if you hold it for 2 seconds it will be at 100% power and the longer that you hold the center button the vibration strength will decrease to 20% when held for 6 seconds. The patterns are shown on the control panel as numbers from 1 to 6. The first vibration pattern is a fast pulsation, 2nd is a longer pulsation that is 4 fast pulses 3 slower pulses and stop and restart the 4 fast pulses. The 3rd pattern is 3 medium pulses and a 4th long one, the 4th pattern is 2 medium pulses and a stop, the 5th pattern is a short pulse and a fast pulse. the last pattern is a long pulse, two shorter pulses.

The vibration level is about a 3, this is on the highest strength rating. The vibrations sit right in the middle of buzzy and rumbly. It could go either way depending on the person's preferences. The vibe is not quiet, it rates about a 2 to 3 on the bees scale. It can be heard over the covers but not through a closed door. I guess that it needs the noise since it is to be an alarm. It does sound similar to a quiet alarm and if someone heard it, they would believe that it is an alarm.

To use the the Wake up vibe manually you press the center button to turn it on and off. You control the patterns with the up and down button.

The Wake up Vibrator is rechargeable and comes with a charger that has a line that is 38 inches long. You receive 4 different plug attachment for plug in depending on what part of the world you live in. The charging port is at the top of the toy. You pull the attached cap off and plug it in. It takes approximately 4 hours to fully charge the toy. It has been used every day for 6 days and at least 1 hour worth of manual play time and the battery is still strong It does not show the charge on the display window. When you plug it in a red light shows up on the portion that is plugged in and it goes green when the toy is fully charged.

The Wake up vibe is easy to care for. I haven't used any lube with it while I have worn it for an alarm. When I used it manually I did use a small amount of water based lube to help to amplify the vibrations. It really doesn't need the lube. It cleans up easily with a wet wash cloth with antibacterial soap and water, you can use your toy sprays on it or your Eden wipes. It really doesn't require any special storage, you do receive a satiny storage bag with the toy or you can keep it on your night stand. I have not found any information able it being water proofed so I would say that it is not water proof or splash proof. Be careful not to get it wet.

The Wake up vibe is discreet it doesn't look anything like a sex toy. The packaging does say wake up vibe all over it and the toy is seen through the clear plastic window. You receive the toy, a satiny storage bag, a satiny blindfold that really doesn't work very well, the charging cable with 4 international plug attachments. Of course you get a manual to figure it all out.

I usually don't wear underwear to bed and I actually thought that it was going to be an issue for use of this toy. It really wasn't and it did stay in place throughout the night. I am a very restless sleeper and I had no issues. It feels really good to be woken up by the vibrations on the clit. Only the first 2 days that I used it, I simply turned it off and rolled back over into some wonderful dreams. I say the dreams were brought on by the clitoral stimulation. Definitely no complaints there. I do need to mention that I an a very hard sleeper and my alarm clock is across my room so that I have to get out of bed to turn it off. On the third day, it actually woke me up in a pleasurable manner.

It does have noise but I do believe that if you are going to use this as an alarm you want the noise to be present. I like this one but it will not be replacing that alarm across the room because I could see myself lying in bed and playing with it.

The manual mode works also but not in the same manner that a regular clitoral vibe would work. It isn't as powerful as say the salsa. I wouldn't want something that strong waking me up though. So I believe that this one is great for what it's intended purpose is, waking me up. The great dreams are just a side effect. I will continue to play with and use this one.
