RO-160mm bullet - traditional vibrator discontinued by Rocks Off Ltd. - review by The-IT-Guy-And-My-Secretary

Rock Off has done it again and although this one is not our favorite of the group it is still the top edge of vibrators in our opinion.

The RO-160 is the biggest of the group of the recent Rocks Off vibrators. This one is not the usual "Bullet" vibe that Rocks Off makes. (Although they do call it a "Bullet Vibe") It measures at 6 and 3/4 inches in length with a 5 1/4 insertable length with a 4 inch circumference and a diameter or 1/8 inches. It is a big toy and I can imagine possibly too big for some ladies.

The box the toys comes in is about 8 inches long, 3 inches high and 3 inches tall. The box is great because it is well made and it allows you to keep the toy in the original box. The inside of the box is molded in order to securely grasp the toy. The inside being molded to grasp toy prevents the toy from moving around and it prevents an inadvertent pressing of the toys button which would cause it vibrate at the wrong time. It is also a pretty durable toy which would take the weight of something on top of it pretty well.

The RO-160 takes 2 AA Batteries for the toy to function. They are kept in the end of the toy beneath the cap that houses the function button. You simply turn the cap at the end clockwise until it opens. When you open the toy you will see the rubber O ring that seals the cap to the toy making the toy waterproof. Yes ladies you can also use this one in the shower.

If you are looking for a discrete toy this is not the toy you are looking for. It is a long toy and also a wide toy so it isn't the easiest to hide. It's shape doesn't hide its function in any way and the box its designed to go in has a wide clear piece of plastic that is mounted in the door allowing you to easily see what is in the package. When the RO-160 is out of the package it does make quite a bit of noise due to its size and larger motor so it isn't even that quiet.

The R0-160 is made in Rocks Off typical style with having a slightly pointed end with a black rubber button on the other end. The button goes through the toys 5 functions and allows you to select your experience. The R0-160 is made of ABS Plastic which is non porous. This gives this toy a safety rating on the Eden Scale of an 8. The 160 is also waterproof which makes it a great toy for the shower. We actually leave ours in the shower just in case the mood strikes. It has a smooth finish except for the recessed company logo which is about half way down the toy on one side of it. The R0-160 has a finish on the outside which causes it to be super slippery when combined with lube. The R0-160 also has very little smell to it being plastic and is hypo-allergenic.

The RO-150 comes programmed with 7 vibrating functions. These functions are activated by pressing the button on top of the vibe.

5) Fast Pulses
6) Escalating Vibe
7) Fast Patterned Pulses


The problem is this toy is a bit noisy due to its size and intensity. I think the toy could have used a larger motor and possibly more battery power.

For maintenance the R0-160 can be easily cleaned with soap and water. Other than the cap portion and around the function button you will find that there are very few spaces bacterial can take hold. I do however use a little brush that we save just for toys and I clean around the button and the cap openings just to be safe and sure. It is always recommended that if you are sharing your toys to use them with a condom.

The truth is we have never really found a good use for the R0-160. We bought it because we loved the other Rocks Off products and we figured it would be just as good as the others. Its really too big for most of the couples things we do with vibrators. Its too big to keep in the shower by far and when it comes to The Secretary going solo she had other toys that come in line of being her favorite before this one is considered for play. Its not a bad toy by any means but it just seems to be too big for a bullet and too dull to be on the quick action rack for us to play with as a couple or for her to play with on her own. We have used it for oral and doggy style sex and it was fun to play with but truthfully the RO-150 was better suited size wise for both activities. I mean you don't want that huge thing distracting you from what your doing to that clit in front of you right!

We both were truthfully also kind of let down by its lack of vibration and compared to its size. We figured it would be loud and crazy but we figured we would put up with that for what we thought would be some crazy vibrations. As things turned out the vibrations were good just not great.

We still love you Rocks Off but we think this one may just not get that much usage.

That huge ole 160....

Well its not really a dildo and its not really a vibrator... its the RO-160!!!

I thing that since we have had some time to play with the full RO line honestly the 160 has lost our collective interest. Why? Lots of noise, not that much stimulation and it really doesn't have a specific job to do.

I mean it does vibrate but its not that fantastic of a vibrator to make me pick it over something else for a vibrator. It has very little texture so its very difficult to reason picking that over any other toy for its texture, shape or size.

So what do you do with it...

The answer has really been nothing lately.

Sorry 160 looks like your sunk. Not really feeling it anymore.
