Ella - g-spot dildo discontinued by LELO - review by Sangsara

The Lelo Ella is a gorgeous 100% siliconedildo. Dildos are non vibrating sex toys perfect for vaginal and anal penetration, male or female. Double ended, it's perfect to find the elusive G or P-spot. It's a decent size, easy for beginners to handle or those that don't like something too large. It's also great for kegel muscles. Whether you've just had a child or simply want more control and apparently better orgasms or the ability to "grip" a guy it's a perfect vaginal exerciser. It would be great for bathtime or a romp in the pool or hottub as it's totally waterproof.

The shape is somewhat unique to Lelo, one end like a small sharp banana with 2 hard edges and one curved, while the other is a blunt end like a banana cut off an inch or two from the stem. The only other texture is a tiny engraved Lelo logo on each side of the pointed end approx 2mm by 1.25cm.

Lelo makes a couple of other versions of the special ended G-spot toy, one with vibration- the Gigi, which I thankfully rejected at the same time that she rejected me and both Lelo and the store that I purchased her at were happy to offer me a credit. I went with another toy then, but when I came across Ella I decided to try again. Last time the end, which almost folds back upon itself, got caught on my pelvic bone and was quite uncomfortable. Ella is slightly bigger and turned out to be much more comfortable plus has a handle which doubles as a second penetration choice. While Gigi's dimensions were a circumference of 3 1/2", Ella's are as follows:

Lelo also made a steel version and a 24kt gold version, neither of which are calling my name and are extremely expensive. Ella comes in black, white, and a dark purplish rose that Lelo labels rose.

The silicone is lusciously smooth, has barely any drag and covers a hard plastic core, making it quite firm. Lelo's silicone, which is a 10 on the eden safety scale due to its non-porous, hypo-allergenic properties is phthalates and latex free. If you do choose to use lube make sure it's a waterbased version like Intimate Organics hydra, as silicone and oil based will break down this gorgeous texture. It's also almost as firm as glass with a thin layer of silicone on it. This toy, like all Lelos that I have tried has no give and is not flexible at all so make sure that this is what you want. For rabbits I desire flexibility so would not go with the Lelo Ina but for straight thrusting Ella is perfect.

Clean up is a snap and so is storage. Ella can be boiled or thrown in a dishwasher if you require sterilization but for use between users or orifices it does suffice to just clean thoroughly with a toy cleaner/wipe or warm water and antibacterial soap. You can also use a 10% bleach solution. Store away from all other silicone toys for the same reason as not using a silicone based lube.

The box that Ella comes in is storage fit for the princess she is. Hard, thick, black cardboard with the Lelo logo embossed in simple black lettering on the top houses a tray molded for an exact fit. You could use this box to travel or toss Ella in your purse or luggage and keep it for wrapping a gift or storing something valuable.

I love the Ella. Although I do have to be careful with the blunt end so that it doesn't get caught on my pubic bone, I found advice in the forums to use a rocking motion which should be enjoyable. The first time I used it, it felt fine. Generally I prefer something that vibrates, but I like to stimulate my clit at the same time and if I have really deep, heavy vibes on it, then another one inside me can be too much and it's hard to feel the pleasure. This dildo is awesome for use with my Form 2, especially alternating between the ends. The thrusting end is nice with the different creases and not too big, which is important to me both because I have a shallow G-spot and because I only have 5 inches till my cervix. I have zero complaints about Ella. She's also a fantastic price here on Eden. I recommend her 100%.

If you use her for anal penetration please be careful. While the blunt end is slightly flared and the entire toy is rigid, she's not likely to get lost, but there's still a possibility.

Ella is still awesome for male or female, anal or vaginal. I don't know what it is but that flat part just doesn't bug me the way it did with GiGi. I seriously recommend this dildo- it's a nice price and shape, very versatile. Funny, Lelo has let me down with so many vibes but Ella is a winner, hands down.
