When I first opened the box and took Ella out I was blown away. She is my first silicone toy, (I'm new to toys), and I'd never felt anything like her. Ella is unbelievably soft. I got the white Ella and she is a pure, bright white with no streaks or spots. She has "LELO" embossed on each side of her traditional end.

Do not use Ella with silicone lube, as it will permanently damage her. Use her with water-based lube only.

LELO makes it difficult to choose her storage. Do you put her in her pretty little box or her satin bag? Whichever route you go I suggest tucking her away somewhere safe so she doesn't get bumped up against anything and messed up.

Ahh, LELO packaging. How I love it. I was so excited to open my Ella. So excited in fact that when I learned she had been delivered that day via package tracking I waited up until 1:30AM when my boyfriend got home from work so I could snatch the mail key from him and go get her.

Ella's packaging has multiple components. First there is the outside box, which was white with a picture of her on one side and "LELO" embossed on the middle of the other side. I believe the outside box color corresponds to the color of the product, as my Mia 2 was rose like her box.



When you open it you will find a sturdy, black box inside with "LELO" again embossed in the middle. I actually struggled to get the black box out and had to shake it a little until I could get my fingers on it and pull it out. Upon opening the black box you will find your Ella nestled in an indentation fitting her shape, covered in a thing piece of clear plastic, which also conforms to her shape.



Along with your Ella you will also find a LELO warranty booklet, a user manual for Ella/Olga, a sample of LELO personal lubricant, and a satin pouch. The user manual has a couple of basic tricks for using Ella and is worth reading. It also contains information about storage and cleaning.

Ella has a lot to offer and even after a few uses I have many more ideas on what I could do with her. I really like how she can be used for temperature play. You can soak her in warm or cool water to change her temperature before use. When I first opened her she had been sitting in my mailbox and it was cold out, so she was chilly. Now to the experience! Dab a bit of water-based lube onto Ella and slide her in. If using the g-spot end make sure the flat surface is facing upwards. Run her along the roof of your vagina until you find your special spot and go to town! I personally am still exploring my g-spot and find Ella to be a great tool for that. G-spot stimulation borders on too intense for me so I like being able to choose how much pressure I give myself. One downside to Ella is that her neck is slightly flexible, so if you are one who needs intense pressure on your g-spot she may not be the one for you. But for beginners and those who need less pressure she is perfect.

After playing with my Ella I have discovered some tricks to get the best from her g-spot end:
1. Ella's g-spot end can be really nasty if you hook her on your pubic bone. To avoid this, do not pull her out all the way when thrusting. Keep Ella nestled in and she won't be pulling on your bones. If your g-spot is close to the opening of your vagina, thrusting may not be the way to go. You might be better off playing with pressure and circular massage.
2. Ella can be used in a variety of positions. I found that when I lay on my back I had good control over her and could thrust and massage well. If you want to sit up on your knees/shins you can rock onto Ella, which allows her to press into your g-spot. This can be a little tricky because of her length, and if she is sticking out of your vagina too far it may not work very well.
3. Pair Ella with a vibrator. Seriously, it might be the best thing you ever do. As I said I am still exploring my g-spot and Ella is so good that it got really intense. To take the edge off I fired up my Mia 2 and put her to my clit, and I was cumming in no time. The downside to this is it may take you away from a vaginal orgasm and give you a clitoral one instead, so keep that in mind if you are really going for a vaginal orgasm.
4. Ella may have a tendency to rotate in your vagina, as she does in mine. Luckily her design allows you to stay on top of where she is. Ella has 2 ridges running down her traditional end, so all you have to do is watch and make sure both ridges are facing up to ensure that her flat g-spot end is where it needs to be. This can be a bit tedious, though.
