Ella, you're good, but not that good.

Ella is a beautiful, double ended dildo brought to us by Lelo. Its primary use is for g-spot stimulation, but the thin end can be used for general penetration. Those of you who find overly hooked or curved toys too pokey or uncomfortable might find this to be a great fit. The flat head makes for great clitoral stimulation, as well as direct, firm pressure for g-spotting. She works for solo play, but with a g-spot experienced partner she'll be even better when used by a couple. The non-g-spot end might get a little dangerous because of the point, so I'd avoid vigorous thrusting.

With extreme care, the handle on Ella has potential to be used for anal penetration while the curve prevents any mishaps, but I don't recommend it because it has no real flare.

I've found that you can use Ella as you would a kegel bar, too! It's like a game of tug of war with you and your vagina.

As soon as I opened the box, I ogled Ella's beauty. Lelo really knows how to make a eye catching product. I carefully picked it up out of the box and admired how sleek it is. She's very lightweight for easy maneuvering. It's not realistic, so I would call it somewhat discreet. Unlike her similar sister Gigi, she does not vibrate, but that's nothing a little vibrating c-ring won't fix. A cock ring would fit well on the handle or right on the neck of it.

I chose it in black, but in person it looks like a dark charcoal grey. The only texture that's on the toy is the Lelo imprint on the handle.

I've used Ella a few times so far, and I do really like her. I find the opposite end is a perfect size for thrusting. I experience very little drag because it's made of such a smooth silicone. I do have to use a lubricant on it, but only very little. It doesn't suck it up like other toys can do, so I don't need to keep reapplying with Ella. She found my g-spot effortlessly; only then did I realize that it could get snagged on my pubic bone. This is the first toy I have experienced this with. I need a pretty good amount of pressure on my g-spot, and I had to keep adjusting the toy which made my wrist a little sore. When I use this toy, I have to be significantly aroused. If I am not aroused, I have to use this toy for a long time and I get wrist pain.

Ella is great at being low maintenance. She has no nooks or crannies to be aware of, so cleaning is a breeze. It's dishwasher friendly. Mild soap and water can be used to clean this toy. It can be fully disinfected with boiling water. I use my favorite California Exotics toy cleaner or the Eden wipes. I either let it air dry or I pat it dry with a chamois towel. Don't store it in direct sunlight or extreme heat.

Lelo always has the best presentation and packaging. After removing the outer box, an unlabeled box is revealed. It's very discreet, and can easily be used for storage. The box has a formfitting slot for Ella to lay in.

The box is 10 x 4 x 1.5, which makes it simple to tuck away on a shelf or into a drawer. If you'd like more compact storage, it can always be placed into the the bag it comes with.

I really like Ella and I'm proud to own her, but I don't love her. She does her job nicely, but with the occasional pubic bone mishap, I can only give her 4 stars. I get better results from other g-spot toys that I have, like the Deep Water G. I still would recommend her, though. This is a beautiful, high quality toy that has rave reviews, so I know that most of you will love her!
