Use

This water based lube is my favorite lubricant for general use. It's safe for use with silicone sex toys, anal play, extended periods of intercourse, oral sex and mutual masturbation. As someone with sensitive skin, I found this lube extremely mild causing no irritation. Its versatile nature makes it perfect during occasions when you're not sure who/what to expect.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

This lubricant is thick like hair gel - really cushiony and slick. Its viscosity keeps it from 'pouring' so the quantity is easy to control. The product stays close to the skin where it's applied, with no signs of greasiness or stickiness.

Taste / Aroma

There's no detectable taste or smell to this lubricant, though I've read that others detect something herbal. Nope, sorry. Not here.

Performance

This product is awesome! It outlasted competing water based lubes, including the pricey Lelo personal moisturizer. This lubricant also did not flake or peel, absorbed completely into my skin and left no noticeable residue or smell. It is also ideal for those of us with sensitive skin, or who just like the peace of mind that comes with using organic, ecologically responsible products.

As always, I always want my lube to last longer, but for water based this is the best I've come across. This product stayed slick during anal and vaginal intercourse and only required a couple re-applications during hand jobs. This lube wakes up quite well with a little water or saliva, and I find that if I have a glass of water on hand I don't really need to re-apply this lube at all for mutual masturbation.

Packaging

The only packaging is the bottle we see on the page. It is a cute little bottle that is quite discreet. I have experienced absolutely no leakage and the opening of the bottle has stayed clean with no maintenance on my part. Personally, I really like the dark bottle because no matter how empty the container is, the packaging remains pretty - but that's my OCD nature talking.

My only wish is that it came in larger quantities with of course a pump top. This bottle is a little stiff and can be hard to squeeze if you are manually disabled, so keep that in mind as well.

This lubricant still works just like the day I bought it, and I continue to obsess over how great it is. What's even better is that it has lasted me so long (6-8 months and not even close to finished). A little goes a long way, and I tend to use LOTS of lube.

I've used Sliquid with a few different partners now and had no problem with sensitivity. Overall smooth sailin' with Sliquid Organics!

  • Too Sticky
    • Ive tried about every lubricant known to man at this point.. I can't find one that I like. They're too sticky, too runny, leaves a residue behind, dries out after too short of a time period. Im frustrated....Anyone have some good suggestions for me? Thanks!
    • I like the sliquid line, as I too have problems with sticky lube and tacky residue from them. I've only tried a few so far, the Sliquid Organics Silk is the best of them for this. The Sliquid Organics Gel only got sticky once on me, when I accidentally added way too much lube (was reviewing a toy that was larger than I am used to).
    • I like the Wet Synergy, the Shunga Toko Aroma, and the Fun Factory Body Fluid. To me, none of these have been sticky, although the Synergy and Body Fluid will probably leave a "residue" because they both have silicone in them. However I've found that wiping with a wipe has removed any of the residue that I was feeling.

    • What would be the shelf life of these?
    • I'm not an expert on lube but I usually toss stuff after one year. If it smells funny or anything you might toss it even sooner.
    • Yea I agree. Most of them dont really say much. But I wouldnt keep them in really hot or humid areas and sounds about right to tosss em out if you see anything different. (scent, color, etc)
