Sliquid Organics Gel is intended to be a thicker version of the Original Sliquid Organics natural lubricant. In theory, it would be great for anyone with glycerine or paraben sensitivities. Because it's also Vegan, you can feel good about purchasing Sliquid products. As a water-based lubricant, Sliquid Organics Gel can be used with any toys, and would be especially good for butt play.

The Sliquid Gel is much thicker than both the Original and the Silk formulations. It was touted for being long-lasting, but I found the opposite to be true. It's fairly easy to squeeze from the package, and doesn't spill easily, so that's certainly a plus. However, my boyfriend and I noticed that after about 15 to 20 minutes of vaginal sex, it started to gum up and form clumps that stuck to his penis. That's quite the mood killer, let me tell you!

I did not notice a particular aroma, but all of the Sliquid Organics have a pleasant, light scent. I did not taste the gel, but I would expect a light taste, not particularly bitter.

I was not at all impressed with the performance of this lubricant. It only lasted about ten minutes before we had to reapply, and we found that it got very clumpy very quickly. Not only was it an unpleasant sensation, since the clumps were quite sticky, but it was also just plain ugly. Pulling out to change positions left us wrinkling our noses and narrowing our eyes at the foreign residue on his penis. As a water-based lubricant, it does clean up easily, but that's simply not redeeming enough a quality to make up for its shortcomings.

As always, Sliquid did design a very pleasing bottle for the Organics Gel. It's packaged in a dark brown bottle with a purple and white label. If your friends and family aren't particularly sex product savvy, they might even mistake it for a natural body wash or lotion. The pop top is very user friendly and combined with the thicker formulation, doesn't allow for much leakage.

If you count clumping as a special feature, then yes. It clumps like no other.

I would truthfully avoid this lubricant at all costs. Get the Silk or the Original instead. If you're looking for an anal lubricant, try Sliquid Sassy, which has received rave reviews across the board.
