Nature's Gel

If you're wanting a thick, water-based lubricant with the addition of luxurious organic botanicals, Sliquid Organics Gel is a stellar choice. It's thick consistency creates a comfortable, slick glide for any orifice with a less frequent need for application than thinner lubricants.

Use

Sliquid Organics Gel is a thick, multipurpose water-based lubricant. Since it's from Sliquid's Organics line, it's been fortified with some organic plant extracts that are thought to be healthy for the body. It can be used for both vaginal and anal use. It's thickness works well for anal, but reapplication will most likely be necessary. Another great plus is that, since this is a water-based lube, it will work with any and all sex toy materials. This is great if you have some toys in your collection made with draggy silicone, as this lube will slick them right up.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Organics Gel has a pretty thick consistency, not unlike hair gel. This is great for those of use who don't like thin lubes. It's not sticky at all, so any excess will just evaporate or soak into the skin without leaving annoying residue.

The ingredients are as follows: Purified Water, Plant Cellulose (from Cotton), Aloe Barbadensis*, Natural Tocopherols (Vitamin E), Cyamopsis (Guar Conditioners), Extracts of Hibiscus*, Flax*, Green Tea* and Sunflower Seed*, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid. Ingredients marked with a * are organic. So you'll notice that though this lube is part of Sliquid's Organics line, it's still not 100% organic. While having organic extracts is nice and all, it's a bit of a letdown that the bulk of the lube, the plant cellulose, is not organic. Still, this is a vegan lube that is free of glycerin and parabens, so this is just about as natural as you're going to be able to get.

Taste / Aroma

This lube tastes ever so slightly herbal to me, and while I don't find it unpleasant, others with stronger taste buds might. I can barely detect a hint of the same smell from it.

Performance

This lube performs well for me, as I find it to be truly multipurpose since it can work in any orifice with any kinds of toys. Vaginally it lasts longer than some of Sliquid's other, thinner lubes, and I like this because I tend to get annoyed when I have to reapply lube too often. It's my second favorite after Sliquid's Ride H2O; they feel almost the same, Ride being a touch thicker. I would only recommend Organics Gel over Ride H2O if you find the organic extracts an enticing selling point, as Ride H2O doesn't have any. But this also makes Ride a few dollars cheaper per bottle as well, so there's a tradeoff, and it's up to you which is more important.

Packaging

Organics Gel comes in an amber #1 plastic bottle. I appreciate the fact that Sliquid tints most of their bottles, as this helps keep the beneficial properties of the botanical extracts intact. The label is also pretty discreet; someone would have to read the bottle to figure out what it is.
