Lubrication is an essential part of a healthy sex life. The problem is that many of us do not make enough lubricant on our own, or we do not always have it when we need it. This is why synthetic lubricants, in theory, are so wonderful. However, they are SYNTHETIC, this means fake, and because of that they are often filled with dozens of chemicals whose names are too long to read let alone understand. For women, many of the ingredients in typical lubricants can be harmful, especially glycerine and parabens, which can actually dry the skin out more and also cause yeast infections. With all of the reasons to not have those chemicals com in contact with our more sensitive areas, it amazes me that there are not more NATURAL products on the market today. Thankfully for all of us here at Eden, we have Sliquids brand as an option for our lubrication needs.

The Sliquids Organic Natural Lubricating Gel is the best lubricant that I have EVER had the pleasure of using for a variety of reasons:

1: It's all natural and organic. I can actually read the ingredient list. This also means no oil bi-products: no glycerine, parabens or petroleum products. I wanted to share the actual ingredient list with everyone, as this is probably my favorite list ever.
Purified Water, Plant Cellulose (care of cotton plants), Aloe, Vitamin E, Cyamopis (or Guar is basically used to thicken this lube, this is what helps it to be a gel instead of a liquid), Hibiscus, Flax, Green Tea and Sunflower Seed extracts (all extracts are Certified Organic), Potassium Sorbate and Citric Acid (both are used to preserve the product).

2: It's Toy friendly. In fact, this lubricant is everything friendly, you can use it with Latex, rubber, plastic and because it is water based and water soluble, go ahead and use it with that silicone (though I always test patch my toys, but I'm paranoid)

3: It's hypoallergenic. I am super super sensitive. I cannot use most beauty products due to potential allergic reactions. But after several uses, I have not yet had any reaction to this lube.

4: It's thick. This is a personal preference. If you like the really watery nature of traditional water based lubricants you will not like the consistency of this product. I really do believe that this is a water based lubricant for silicone lube lovers. It is much much thicker than any water based lubricant I have ever tried and reminds me of my favorite silicone lubricants.

There is one aspect of this product that I do not enjoy and that is the smell. The best way I can describe the smell of this lubricant is cheap hotel shampoo. I realize that it is botanically infused, but I didn't realize how strong the smell would be. In the future I will look for fragrance free options.

I've been using this with my new Picokiki (which is silicone and it is fine with this) and a few other toys I've got laying around. I haven't had the best luck of the past with water based lubes lasting, so I may have applied more than I needed the first time, but it lasted almost my entire session (20minutes). The second time I used it, I applied a drop to the tip of the toy (its a clit stimulator) and coated the tip with the lube. I found that it lasted about 10 minutes before needing to reapply which, for solo play, is completely find with me. When I actually have a partner to test it with, I will let you know how long it lasts.

I have more lubes than one girl needs on her own, and this is the one I reach for every time. Not only because it is one of the few compatible with every toy in my closet, but because it is the best period. I've loved a lot of lubes and while my silicone lubricants still have their place, nothing for day to day use beats this gel. It's VEGAN ORGANIC, aka I'm cool with it having daily contact with my coochy. In fact, this is the first lubricant that I can use every day without any problems with my coochy. It's so wonderful to know that it's not hurting my queen victoria. Even if I cannot wash it off right away, I have yet to have a problem with it.

To anyone with any sensitivities or any problem with toxic chemicals in lubricants, and to anyone who needs a solid water-based lube, this is all I want to use for awhile and I can say with great confidence that you will not be disappointed if you try it.
