How do you feel about sexy little outfits?

There's a whole industry for sexy little dominatix outfits. I've never owned anything like that at all.

I feel alot more dominant in carhartts and boots then I would in (what feels to me like) a stripper costume.

Do the outfits (like the medusa and xena and such sold here) make you feel dominant? What do you wear to get you in the mood to tell him what to do?

I'm a switch. I like rocking corsets the most. I'm not a fan of non-breathable material.

For me, it's comfortable clothing. A black tank top, BDUs, and a pair of combat boots with glassed out toes is the ultimate in sexy for me. I'm comfortable, my body isn't on display, and I'm able to play without tripping or worrying about flashing the entire dungeon if I bend over too far.

I don't have big round model boobs, so I don't think the Medusa or the Xena would be flattering on me.

I do tend toward black. I have boots that I like, but not fancy expensive boots. I used to have just-in-the-bedroom high heels but lost the desire to wear them. I've been on the lookout for a nice, fitted black dress. I'd like to own thigh-high boots someday but I'm not holding my breath. Corsets aren't my thing. I feel very very good in my own clothes, which are often tanktops or sports bras and boxer briefs. I love sports bras. I feel very in-control of my body with them, and I have a full range of comfortable motion if I want to go smacking people.

Costumes are costumes. Dominance is desire and action.

Personally, my dominance is not related to what I'm wearing. I like the look of a nasty catsuit and I dearly LOVE shiny, wickedly high heeled thigh boots but I certainly don't need them to correct and instruct my subs. Probably a good thing since I have planar fasciitis and can't wear heels of any kind for a year or more while it heals.

I can see the appeal and maybe it can make entering the head space easier...sort of like ritual clothing to enter a religious mood (like a new dress for Easter!) but I don't need fancy robes to cast a magic circle, and I don't need special clothes to get my "Domme" juices flowing.

Still it is sort of amazing to be dressed like a stripper, with all that entails, and then to deny him/her any relief from the vision and what's going on in his/her wickedly naughty little brain, isn't it?
