I second FetLife. It's a great community and you learn so much for those who have been doing it for so long. There are different groups you can join. I guarantee you'll find at least one group in your specific interest as well as groups in your area no matter where that is on the globe.

As others have said, FetLife is the go-to online BDSM community. If you're looking for something life and in person, most major cities have developed BDSM/kink groups that meet up for lunch, demos, and (depending on the group) maybe more.

Fetlife is cool but I left there a couple of months ago. All I got were people trying to meet me in person for a good time when it clearly stated I was involved with someone.

So here's the deal. Fetlife is a good place to meet people in your local community and to stay on top of party info and workshops and to keep in touch with friends. There are a few drawbacks, one of which is just like anywhere there are creepers. Guys that will send you rude and sexually suggestive messages even though your profile may read that you are in a committed relationship. Over all it's a good place to meet people and stay in touch with new friends.
