Bondage Flexibility

Contributor: Chilipepper Chilipepper
I have questions for the bondage folks. While studying up on bondage gear, I experimentally moved my arms, legs, etc into the positions to see how they would 'feel' and I nearly strained myself. I know I'm not very flexible (plus size, mid-30's, never athletic, cardio-exerciser), but I'd like some opinions on the matter.

How flexible are you? Does your flexibility dictate what bondage items/positions you can do? Did you start out not being flexible but trained your body to do so?

Anything else I couldn't think to ask about the subject, add to it. I guess I just would like to know how you made it work.

Don't think I'd work well overweight/inflexible. Depends what I'd want more 2 take action or not.

I know we've had to adapt certain positions and even avoid some positions because I have very tight and inflexible legs. I do try and stretch around 20-30 minutes a day so that I can hopefully become a little more flexible, but the results aren't coming too quickly.

It's probably going to be most fun if you stick with positions that work comfortably and avoid contorting yourself into positions that are painful.

I am very flexible (and also plus size >_>) and I can be tied into some crazy positions. I can't quite get my legs over my head, but I can be tied in pretty much a full, backwards circle and I can twist like you wouldn't believe. However, I have always been flexible, so I didn't have to "train myself". If you really want to increase your flexibility, just do a bit of yoga. Being flabby doesn't necessarily mean you can't try some contortionism! Just be careful, as you mentioned, not to strain yourself!
