It depends on the situation. Tied/cuffed to the door, the paddles work best. Her favorite paddle is one with heart-shaped cutouts that leave impressions on the skin - a kinder version of the "SLUT" paddles you see. There is also the Tawse and metal studded paddles to mix in. I've seen that in some porn - but its mostly associated with humiliation scenarios. My D is not into humiliating me - I'd be up for it in moderation but so far she has not shown an interest.
