We have done candle-based massage - but I wouldn't call it a wax. I believe they are soy oils that melt from the flam and are massaged into the skin rather than hardening on impact like wax.
I was looking around for low temp candles and stumbled onto this website. Its amazing, Im down to try this out.

Would you do it? Have you done it?
I came across the same site when I first started years ago and honestly I didn't know they made candles specifically for waxing until I came across it...how funny.I enjoy wax-play and although I have found these candles I still use regular candles.
The massage candles are a great safe starting place.
the new low temp candles are great for safteys sake.

Be carefull with the darker coloured and black candles as the larger amounts of pigment can heat up to dangerous temps. Oh and avoid the metal and sparkly ones.
You can also try the various waxing and sugaring products intended for hair removal for some very interesting results.
With the bonus you can wax at the same time if you want.
