Most of the times I've seen it, it's been pretty intimidating for me to try myself. But recently, I've been interested in buying restraints and whips and what not. Anyone have any suggestions on what to do as a beginner and how to introduce to my partner?

I always thought about bondage, and when I started talking to my partner about it randomly and off hand and in any, private place. A great place I tend to have such discussions in when we're driving in the car. I'll say something like "I was on Eden and I saw these (handcuffs, whips, whatever) on sale." and go from there.

I don't even know, to be honest. I feel like it was probably wrestling with an ex in high school and realizing that I loved the power exchange and thrill of it. Now I can't stop!

I think it's easier to introduce BDSM to your partner when you are female.

I don't know what you want to do, but I think a good introduction might be just saying: "Tie me!" in a hot situation.
