Has anyone tried Puppy Play?

Has anyone here tried puppy play? One of the guys I Top on a regular basis wants to try it, and I am totally willing, but I've never tried it before. I'd really like to do this for him. The way I've heard it explained, it sounds a little like collar/leash play, only different. They get into their mindset, and then I am the "owner" for the night. I make sure I give them love if they're good, and maybe a tap on the nose if they're bad. I know this info is woefully inadequate, so any advice or experience would be welcomed!

Yes! It's a great dynamic. My submissive "persona" has been a puppy for as long as I've been with my current boyfriend. It's great to be cuddled, loved, and petted, but disciplined if necessary. While I do like pain and pain play doesn't often really fit in, it's definitely ideal for me and my partner (who's more affectionate than dominant). There's also some really cool toys out there, from common and obvious ones like collars and leashes to puppy tail butt plugs (WHICH I REALLY WANT). Good luck!

I havent but it does sounds kind of fun. For this play I would have to be the sub. I can only play dom if the kink is extreme.

How long does a puppy scene last for you guys, if you don't mind me asking. I've had scenes that go all night, and some where it's fifteen minutes of me beating on him. I kinda figure we can play as long as he likes, my boy is pretty cuddly as it is

You seem to have it down. Talk to him. Some people like pup play which involves a lot more training. Others like a more adult play and a more trained pet. Pony play and kitty play and dog play all have different dynamics as well.

Just think of how you would treat an animal and use that as a good starting point

Definitely talk to him and see what he would like out of it. That's a good place to start. As a sub and a pup myself, I can definitely tell you that talking to him would be best. :]

I'm a kitty when in my subbie moods and my chew toy is a kitty also. I think he really might be a confused puppy... We're still learning! Talking helps a lot.

Maybe take him to Petsmart and let him pick out a couple squeaky toys and a cute collar? That would be fun!
