Start out slow. Make sure you check in with him to see how he's doing, if you're going too slow or fast, etc. Has he done any anal play before? If not, either have him do some experimenting on his own with fingers or toys or play together with fingers as a warm up. Don't just start out with pegging only to find out that he hates things in his ass, you know? Plus if he plays some on his own, he'll be better able to communicate with you how he likes it.
