So I can think of a few ways to go about pegging:
- receiver lying down, either face-up or face-down
- receiver up against a piece of furniture (maybe kneeling with their front half on the bed, or using a piece of specialty furniture)
- "on all fours" (which seems like it'd be the least stable, honestly).

How have you tried it? What works for you?

There are three that I find generally good and one that works for a while.

"Cowboy" (guy on top squatting over the girl) is fun for a while, but it can get tiring. This one is best if you alternate who does the moving (guy bounces some, then rests while she thrusts).

Missionary works well. You lie on your back and pull your legs up, she's on top. As a variant you can be at the edge of the bed or other furniture and have her stand. If you do this then she doesn't have to hold herself up.

Doggie can be very fun, but it can also poke sometimes.

Bent over pillows or furniture allows you to really relax, but neither of you can easily get at your penis. Great for initial insertion.

There's something about the bent over a pillow / face down that seems to be so like surrendering. I have no control of anything and just need to force myself to let go. It's very trusting. My wife will put her hands on my back and just go to town on me. I don't need to touch my penis to orgasm.
