I like both, but I feel like bit gags are more universal in fit. You can get a ball gag that is too big or too small for a jaw easily. So if it is your first purchase and fit is super important I would say go for a bit gag.

Bit gags allow for more noise and more drool. In my experience at least.

Ball gags restrict noise more and while there is still drool, not as much as the bit gags.

I personally like my bit gag more than any of my ball gags because I like drooling and I like biting down on something when being hit. I prefer biting down on something than having my noises muffled. But that is just my take on them.

I'd love if my wife wore a ball gag. But I know likely it won't happen. Takes quite some time. I would think the ball gag would be better but with a breather hole.

I prefer the ball gag cause I think bit gags make me make silly faces and drool a lot. >_<
