I haven't learned the ropes yet for knot tying. I know, pun is bad, so sue me I do prefer to use whatever is around me as I like to improvise. I do love my cuffs, though

I am also a mental/predicament bondage type of girl. Sometimes no restraint and being told to lay still and not move while being played with is more exciting than having the restraints and being free to wiggle and move about as I please under his/her hand.

That's just me, though. I love me some bondage!

So far we've only used scarves and body weight. I like it but a light type of bondage.

My first foray into bondage involved a cheap set of handcuffs that snapped in half. Since then it's been rope, ties, shirts, anything. I can't wait to get my hands on those purple ankle and wrist cuffs from Crave. They look gorgeous!

We use rope mostly, but are starting to get more into leather. Rope is fantastic in that it's INCREDIBLY versatile. You can tie cuffs, restraints, body harnesses, hogties, etc, etc, etc... if you can imagine it, you can pretty much do it! And it's VERY affordable to get some quality rope. Leather on the other hand, is a lot more expensive to collect for all the different uses, and still not as versatile. However, setting up a bondage scenario with leather is far quicker and easier than all the rope work. Oh, and don't forget the aroma!!

I think different gear has different purposes, and should be used by whatever the situation warrants.

anything that's lying around works well enough, and if there isn't anything there (or we're lazy) then it's just mental. Although I am really bad at not moving unless restrained (occasionally on purpose, but often not) and like to fight the power just because I can. It's happened more than once that we've started out towards something serious only to end up laughing and in an impromptu wrestling match.

I think my favorite experience was being tied up to a closet bar, wrists tied together and then to the pole. It was just tall enough to clear my head, but not so high I was stretching, and also close enough to me that i could take a step forward and back. Add in a blindfold and its the best experience of my life thus far.

I get super excited about bondage, and I usually need some form of it to get me turned on. The type depends on what we're doing. I've used handcuffs before, but those things were so uncomfortable I'll probably never do it again unless I want the pain. Other than that, we've used rope, bondage tape, blankets, bandanas, you name it. I also love bondage that involves incapacitating me by my long hair. It works wonders ^_~

I would love to get some leather cuffs one of these days, or something with fuzzy on the inside. Not to mention, those new Lelo products look so pretty....

I only do softcore, really, But I still like bondage a bit.

I definitely enjoy bondage.. nothing too hardcore, but I am totally cool with more than light bondage. We don't have all that much for bondage restraint systems, so we tend to use whatever is handy at the time. The handcuffs I did have actually ended up breaking, so we need to invest in a better pair. I also enjoy tying my man up from time to time to tease the hell out of him!

My Master and I use anything that can be in use. Basically Master will modify anything that can be used in bdsm. He never uses something that he does not know how to use... He uses clothes pins, ropes, hangers, clips, knives, needles, for needle play. Just about everything he could use.

I'm into light bondage, and started with silk scarfs to restraint and blindfold. As I got older (and had money) I tried out handcuffs, spanking, and whips. Also bondage for me is a teasing ability and a way to be spontaneous on technique. I like to be the restrainer and the restrainee...that's probably the incorrect terminology but I like both roles. Give both a try.

I use rope. I just recently got into doing shibari a few months ago. If it really is your passion you can go a long way in a short amount of time. I learned on my own, from looking at photos online and I think that is the best way. Think outside the box and don't let yourself be limited by what you see in a book. However, I have honed my skills by learning new harnesses and techniques from bondage books. They are a great way for beginners to explore.

We really like our under the bed kit (so much so I am considering taking it with us when we leave on vacation) but in a pinch my husband has gotten creative with a pair of my tights -- using them as a blindfold when he could get his hands on a proper one. He is creative in more ways than I for sure.

I like to do most of the above, but I recently purchased the under bed restraint system by Sportsheets for my dorm room at university. It has made my stress and tension from work disappear!
I love it and can't recommend it enough. Plus, it's easy to hide from the roommates which is always a plus.

We love it and while we have restraints, we tend to use what's handy too. I think it just depends on our mood at the time, or better said HIS mood at the time. It's all pretty darn good for me.

As much as velcro is a nice thing for quick easy play, I don't like to be able to get out easily and never have. I need to be able to strugle agaisnt the restraints and not get out until they want me to or I immdeiatly switch to being a Top and they really don't like or want that.
