when i was 16, my bf and i were walking behind a walmart, and he shoved me up against the wall and handcuffed me to a ramp pole that was there(romantically, of course!). i was stuck for like 2 hours. THEN we decided that since we thought we figured out how to get them off, he cuffed my wrists together. i rode the city bus home like that.....had to sneak in the window and sleep cuffed...we wire-cutter'd them off the next morning at school. LOL.

needless to say...we don't do metal handcuffs anymore. we've stuck to leather straps ever since then!

We made our own under-bed restraint system, ha, art students on a budget can do some really creative things...Mostly we've been using bondage tape with it, he doesn't know knots very well, so, I don't want to risk being tied up and him not being able to figure out how to untie me! The tape is fun, not the strongest, but with enough layers wrapped around, it does a pretty good job.

We'll be investing in a good, solid pair of leather cuffs when some more money falls into our laps, I can't wait!

We have used silk ties, scarves, and we bought rope and that we are learning on how to use it (cant wait) and I really want to get an under the bed restraints.

I've used rope before, am looking into almost everything on the list, and have a very large collection of large hair-ties and sturdy scarves in the same drawer where I keep my sex toys. I use what's at hand, and have been tempted to use plastic wrap once or twice when I didn't have access to anything else.

My experience is not extensive but he chooses what restraints to use depending on the situation. Sometimes that is whatever is at hand, other times it's more complex.

Dated a girl in college that wanted to be bound, gagged, the whole nine yards. Discovered you either love it, or not so much. It didn't do anything for me, and while she "had" to have it, I found it totally non-sexual, and actually ended up "breaking up" with her because I was having "no fun" in that department and I am sure that eventually I was not going to be making her happy, since I was just not into it. I guess to each his own, but I still don't see the sexual "fun" in it. Only activity seriously not on our list.

We've got metal hitching rings attached to our bedframe at all four corners. Use clips and the like to attach chains, straps, whatever to those - and use cuffs for restraints.

Bondaaage. I have about 300 feet of brand-new pink nylon rope. He is gonna look so hot in it.

Gotta be careful with it, though. It burns more than cotton if I move it as fast as I move the cotton rope.

I like leather cuffs for purpose (buckle, locking, whatever) but love attaching them to the bed with rope or handcuffs for the aesthetic. I also like impromptu rope hogties connecting the cuffs
