I voted leather - I have a nice leather collar and leash (purchased at pet shop) but our handcuffs are soft with Velcro fasteners.

I covet leather cuffs - but have been unwilling to pay the premium.

I like your explanation on that. Both types are both fantastic products for any BDSM. From past experiences I have used velcro fasteners for shorter sessions and leather since it is more durable for more extended sessions.

I think it's all up to the context. Cuffs with velcro are fantastic for some situations, but if I had to choose just one, I'd have to say rope. You can't go wrong with rope. Versatile, classic, and doubles as a wonderful little whip in a pinch.

We've started to practice bondage after DKK's "Feeling Knotty" review.

Now we're into shibari as well and it's always a breath-taking experience for us.
