I think that's a great idea.

Excellent! I love being able to donate points.

That seems like a wonderful cause. By large scale what are you meaning? Yep, call me dense

I have missed most of those meetings. My wife was the one that informed me of it. Curious as to what is on the agenda?
The next meeting is on Monday, and in addition to talking about the clothing drive we've been doing, we'll also be talking about relief for the Joplin area.

I am staring to think the same thing. I guess some folks only want to talk about sex and how great 'this' toy is.

"Large scale" in this sense means that we're actively running a fundraiser and gathering money for a set amount of time and then sending the money raised to the place it's being donated to.

I brought up a new idea for the review templates in the review workshop the other night, but I have not heard back from anyone regarding them. Is this a good place to discuss that as well?

Also, glad to be back and anxious to help out another fundraising drive.

This would be the perfect place to bring that up. The review program is part of the community and this meeting is about making the community betterer and more awesomer, so you can always bring up new ideas for things here

Ahh, got it. I never realized exactly what was going on. Really, thinking Vacc. is right about the sticky note thing.

Just means that they don't get to complain that things aren't being done how they want them to be.

Not to be presumptuous, but is EF going to do any kind of match? If so, maybe we could use that as an incentive? So for example, the more donations we get, the higher EF donates?

I do too, but I can understand how intimidating it can be trying to get involved when there's already a group who's been around for a while. Hopefully people will come around.

The other thought I had during the holiday family time was for a raffle. Offer up an expensive item and sell raffle tickets. I'd be willing to sponsor the item even.

The review template in general, is something that I would like to make a number of tweaks on, and propose them for implementation. As I was not in the workshop, I would love to hear your suggestions! Could you please send me a description of your ideas (as detailed as possible) and I will add them to my notes!

Good! I was wondering if there is a chance to make it so that we don't have to re-scroll down every time we click "edit" or "save" in different sections. It gets annoying

I, too, would like to see some more involvement, but I think it might be intimidating for some. I didn't start using the forums until I was here for a few months.

I think it also depends on the day and things like that, I've missed so many of these that I wish I could have come to

Also, is there any update on the revamp of the forums? Or is that in an earlier thread I missed? I'm not too keen on browsing through pages of our side chats to find an answer.

I did a raffle to raise money for Relay for Life, and it went pretty well. I could see something like that taking off, especially here. A lot of companies are willing to sponsor things like that, too.

That is a great idea, a lot of people haven't joined in with the contests because of the social network aspect, so a raffle ticket would be less risk for those people

I wasn't at the workshop and would love to hear what the idea or suggestion was. I recall reading rather recently about video reviews and forms, so I am hoping that is what it is..
