I am emailing you my suggestions right now. There are only 3 , but they are 3 that I feel would greatly benefit the templates and have seen other contributors talk about throughout the forum!

YES! Or at least cut them down immensely. I am sick of the spam as well.

Or maybe we can set up a system where those who abuse the threads get their points taken away, like a probation type of thing?

You aren't removing the incentive, just delaying it (or rewarding it for 1-2 reviews, if you want to look at it positively). Of course, you bring up an entirely new issue of how easy it is to get advanced reviewer status. I'd love to see the cost/benefit breakdown that I imagine EF did when they came up with the program.

I miss mentoring, but I do not miss much of what has been said. I had so many that did the 'get a free toy and run deal' and even had one that was copying other's reviews. I only had a few that truly wanted to learn, to bad they have not stuck around. ~sigh~

That would truly upset me. I've noticed a lot of people copying other's reviews. Even mine, as a matter of fact. I wish people would stick to being independent and earn what they get. I don't really stay with EF for the free stuff, I do like writing reviews though. I like to help out the community.

Honestly, what irked me the most was I did not notice it. After that I always went and checked all the reviews for that toy first before doing anything else. Live and learn.

I too just like to help out others through my reviews. If it saves them from making a bad purchase or helps them find that "Awesome" toy then all is well for me.
