I actually put my dough near (not on) the stove when the oven is heating to take advantage of the warmth.

Okay, everybody chime in here---and I Love that you were already doing it earlier!

List some fillings you would bake in this bread. I will take a number for everybody that participates, and a random number generator will pick who gets the next three gift cards.

And EVERYBODY wins because we get all these great ideas

The backside of my bread always bakes when I do this, and then I am sad. So it's an electric muscle-heating pad for me!

I put mine in the stove with just the light on. The 60 watt light bulb throws enough heat for my yeast to proof.

My bread rises in a 75 degree kitchen usually. My kitchen is always a bit hotter than my thermostat.

Cream cheese, pumpkin filling (like for pie), nutella, oh....I have too many ideas!

I would love to do a honey/nut/cinnamon filling. Or, some nice rosemary and basil. The fresh stuff.

Dried fruit marinated in a little rum or something would be good mixed with butter & cream cheese

I'm really liking the idea of a baklava bastardization with a honey and walnut paste. Om nom nom!

Haha oh yeah. I thought that combo reminded me of something. I'm not a fan of the flakiness of baklava. I think the combo would taste nice.

Double-answer though.

And oh man, hummus! The ultimate time-saver, you don't even have to dip your bread!

That's why we put it on the counter *next* to the stove. If we put it on the stove, it would bake. There's a sweet spot.

Rosemary is amazing. <3 You can't go wrong with it. Mixing it with balsamic vinegar was one of the best things I've ever done. It makes for a great chicken/pork/anything marinade, as well as a great dipping sauce for bread.

A bourbon icing almost like a bread pudding drizzle. That is making me hungry.

Ooh, yum. I bet the balsamic would bake off, though, so you'd just have to fill the bread with rosemary and olive oil, and maybe some parmesan cheese too? And then dip in rosemary + balsamic afterward.

Yum.
