I love jasmine and basmati rice. Plain white rice is good too, and I love brown rice but I hate cooking it. Takes forever. I usually keep some boil in a bag brown rice around for when I'm in the mood for brown rice but I don't feel like spending a long time cooking it. I'd like to try some of the varieties listed that I haven't tried before, I just don't know where I would find them around here. Maybe I'll look online later.

Forbidden Rice makes a beautiful purple or a lovely deep black, great for accent piece or an unexpected twist to a classic recipe. The nutty flavor is perfect for center stage of a dish. I highly recommend using it for Moroccan rice pudding.

I love all kinds of rice and have created some of my own kinds as well. Anytime I make white rice I melt butter into it then add blue cheese dressing. Also I found a pre-mix at the store that I love: Buffalo Chicken Rice! It's really good!
