Then you can get some super-fun "Battle for dominance" situations. Of coarse, not all BDSM activity strictly needs a dominant and a submissive, either. We sometimes take turns on one day.

Hah! I want a dildo tree for Christmas. I would send it to a friend of mine who would understaaaaaaaaaand.

If only I had the money to make a dildo tree. (giggles)

Though seeing as I can get kegel balls out without a retrieval cord it seems kinda pointless to have one on a dildo. I could eject a dildo eaaaaaaasy. /tmi

Okay, switch/switch!

Switches are kinky people who are capable of both submitting and dominating. They can either switch with one partner or they will have multiple partners, some of whom they dominate and some of whom they'll submit to. A switch/switch relationship would in my opinion look like two open-minded people who love experimenting and are willing to do that with each other. It allows for my favorite game, which is of course "I make you submit!" "Oh yeah?" "YEAH!" (wrestle)

I enjoy the dynamic because I'm a competitive person and I love making someone submit, and knowing I have a chance at losing. Switch/switch seems more fun and less formal... like an extension of play partners, except between two people already in a relationship who know what they want.

This all seems odd to me. (NOt you in particular, but the whole switching thing) Because in any 'normal' relationship, doesn't it go back and forth like that anyways? I mean, I wear the pants in our relationship.... anyone can tell you that, but there are days when I don't WANT to be in charge of everything... you know? So how is a swith BDSM relationship any different?

It takes more extreme swings back and forth I think. I know even being owned there are days where he gets tired... nobody is dominant 24/7 or even submissive 24/7. After a while it's just a normal ebb and flow of things and you work it out.

It's still a power exchange, it's just a matter of who assumes power for that session.

In our relationship, M always wants to be in charge, and I never want to be in charge. He takes control in everything. There are some things I'm allowed to lead the way in, but that is only because he's taught me which way to go and trusts me to follow the path he's pointed out.

Alwright, sorry my time here was so short but if we're still rocking and rollin' by the time I get back... I'll jump in.

I want to get a shower in and make up a cup of hot cocoa.

Be back soon, everyone.

And to answer something posted earlier, Switches do get some grief in the BDSM community, as a pansexual switch, I get the same grief as a switch that I get for not choosing a gender to like.

This is probably way naive, but I have to ask. When you say EVERYTHING, do you mean that he like, chooses what you eat, what you wear, where you can go, etc?

I don't either, I like having the best of both worlds as a switch, though.

For me that's the case a lot of the time but not all the time. After a while you know what they want and you just automatically choose what they'd want you to have/do. It's almost a training period.
