In order to get more followers, you need to get your name out there! After all, how can someone follow you if they don't even know that your website exists? That's right; they can't! A good way to start to get your name out there is through blog round-ups. These are sites that allow you to submit your posts in order to be included on their site in some capacity. They usually either require you to repost a list of links or add their link to your website, so make sure you read what their requirements are before you try to participate!

Here at EdenFantasys, the EdenBloggers forum includes a round-up for all non-review posts that you can submit to. Some any-adult post (review or otherwise) round-ups are AdultBlogHub and e-lust. Other sex toy review round-up sites include Grits Reviews, Real Sex Toy Reviews, and Pleasurists. If you enjoy taking suggestive pictures of yourself for your blog, you might consider submitting to the Wanton Wednesday round-up or the Half-Naked Thursday round-up for publicity. Participating in these round-ups will allow you to get your name out there and start getting involved in the community. If you have a non-sex blog, similar resources exist for most blogging communities.

Once you get your name out there, making blogger friends is definitely a step in the right direction. When you and another blogger become friends, you can list each other on your Blogroll. This allows people of your friend's blog to find YOUR blog and visa versa. Again, this helps with letting readers out there know that your blog exists. Because you can have amazing content, but if there's no one there to read it, then you still don't have any visitors! You have to draw the visitors yourself, but if everything works correctly, they'll stay regular readers because of your amazing content.

For my blog, I feel like I've been involved in everything at some point or another! I do Wanton Wednesday, Half-Nekked Thursday, and now TMI Tuesdays every few weeks or so. I'm also a member of Real Sex Toy Reviews and I submit my stuff to Grits Reviews pretty often. I use Pleasurists as well, especially when I'm running a giveaway.

it was a site that was similar to like payu2blog. they were really rude talking about how google penalizes adult sites (which they might i'm sure?)

Haha, oh wow. Yeah my residents and I have a love/hate relationship since I was a pretty strict RA for two years...it's okay, they gotta learn to be responsible eventually XD. Next year will certainly be fun! Apparently I'm going to be in a 24/7 quiet hour dorm. less

Social networks is a big thing of blog promotion anymore. Round-ups are definitely good for getting your name out there, but you want to make sure that you offer tons of ways for your readers to follow you. I prefer learning about new posts through Twitter, but others prefer other methods! Being on social networks is definitely a good thing if you can handle it. Nothing is worse than a dead social media account! So if all you can handle is Twitter, stick with that, but if you could add Facebook onto the mix, definitely add that in. Popular social media networks include Facebook, Twitter, Fetlife, and Tumblr. Do be careful as Facebook is very careful about adult content, so watch your wording when you post on there. The other networks are much more open to it though.
