If that seems like an odd combination to be asking help from that is kind of the point. I started a blog dealing with feminist (and racial and queer and etc.) issues and gaming, Bechdel Gamer. More specifically a big part of what I want to do with this site is have a site like BechdelTest.com which is a database movies and whether or not they pass the Bechdel Test (1. it has to have at least two women in it, who 2. who talk to each other, about 3. something besides a man).
To that end I’ve created a modified version of the test to apply to games and well as a Google forum via which people can submit their evaluation of games to. Here is the frist game I’ve put to the test by the way: link.
I still consider the site to be in beta but finished enough for me to ask for feedback and as much as I hate groveling for traffic the idea only really works if there are enough people to submit games evaluations via the forum. So any thought feedback, games that should be added? Please submit any games you believe meet or don’t meet the test.
