For example, this month the theme on Eden is Sexy YOU, as you may have noticed from the various threads, banners and promotions going on where we've encouraged all community members to tell us what makes them feel sexy.

Expressions of love is going to be the next theme. And we would love to hear stories about how you've turned a friendship into a romance, how you can identify an expression of love if it's convoluted in nature or maybe how you express your own love towards someone...use your imagination. I would say as far as the erotica stuff that's, of course, fine but leave the hardcore stuff for your free write if you don't mind. You're going to post the entries just as you normally would, under the EdenLit category with the theme in the title and each piece submitted will be included in the Chronicle. How does that sound?

and thank you again, Woman. I really enjoy writing and have been doing it just for fun for years. Unfortunately, I had a computer blow up on me a couple of weeks ago and lost everything. That is why I only did one story this month... nothing to write on.

It is VERY hard to maintain perspective in either first or second person perspective (narrative) because we are taught to write in third person but you can get some amazing depth of vision if you practice withthe other perspectives.

That sounds like it could be fun!!!!

And these are month long themes? From the first the last day.

If this is the case, I think this month, we should try to get a few posted for SexyYOU (no to be mistaken with SexyYOOO), and for the April topics have Expressions of Love? So we stay in the month with the theme?

Or can we get a list of theme's for the next few months so we have more time to work and polish up submissions?

I have write letters by hand to someone in prison every month, and I am appalled at how terrible my handwriting has become!

But I am back with a computer, and am getting a new one at the end of this month, so no more problems should ensue!

We're gonna keep it fresh by announcing the topics for the chronicle the month before...that way if ideas change we can roll with it!

I don't think I mess up the first to the third person very often, I've never had anyone say I do. I know while writing something, I'll stop, take a breath and go darn! Delete.

For me I seem to have picked up the Chinese thingie of not being able to remember a girl is a she and not a he. And a boy is not a she but a he.

EEEEK!!! I've got my phone I can still write on, but I will never loose more than a week's worth of work on my computer. Every Saturday morning, my computer is backed up via email and external hard drive.

Sucks if I am writing something new though. To loose a weeks work???

I count myself very fortunate to have not had that be a huge issue for me, forgetting how to use a pen or pencil that is. It seems like I'm always jotting notes, although given how much of those notes end up in my phone I'm very surprised I can still write by hand, lol.

How erotic: Let's keep it mainstream, please. The forum on the whole is quite diverse and some of our more timid readers might not want to stumble across graphic details, but thankfully you can write those details in your other writings for the club.

Really the only thing I notice about your writing Woman is you get very wrapped up in the scene and forget the smaller words that add description or direction....it's like you are describing a scene on a movie screen but you forget we can't see it...if that makes sense. I have that problem as well I forget to say "I liked my lips slowly..." and instead it comes out "Licking lips slowly" and my readers are all like WHO was lickiing the lips...whose lips were they? WHICH lips???!!!???

Other than that you are pretty excellent at keeping in whatever perspective you start the scene in.

Not at all!!! That is about a month... and I'll see about working on something for SexyYOU and get it up in here soonerish. I've had an idea in my head that has been scratching other ideas but yet to be fully formed!

and thanks on the themes... I can understand keeping them one by one to keep it fresh. My thought was to post them without dates, so anyone can see them and those who are hesitant writers from the Community could have more time to get work or work with no time line.

Ohhh... thank-you for this!!!

I've never been told but yes, there are times when I have gone back and looked at my work once it's posted and do the faceplam thingie because I've spotted that too.
