Amazon does some price setting, too. I don't wanna bore anyone (though this is secretly fascinating) but we did a "price scrub" search on one of our books and saw that they had changed the price 13 times in two days. Sometimes, at a loss for them!
That seems like a lot of work, but it also makes me think I should watch the price of something for a day before I buy it!

How strange and, yes, fascinating! I would totally listen.

I'm newish here, are you a publisher from Cleis? If so, you should talk to Kayla about doing an EdenLink spotlight. I'd love to hear about the industry.

Yes, the dynamic in that one was intense. My favorite though was the last story, Your Hand on my Neck

Indeed. I'm still trying to identify why I like it best, but it's the only one I've re-read (so far).

Oh wait maybe I got it confused with something else, if that is power over power then I enjoyed that one as well. I was thinking of something in an office setting...

Between the first person pov and the erotic asphyxiation I had a hard time getting into that one.

Kindle can read PDF's too just smaller. I turn the kindle sideways with a PDF for clarity.
I didn't know that. I think when I got mine (late 2008) they couldn't. At least that was my understanding.

I read the reinterpretation and it's pretty good...but it really is about the supporting cast more than the main characters of Jane Austen's novel.

I loved it myself, but Alan's sitting here saying it was "typical" so I can't say he agrees. I'm not sure exactly why I liked it so much either, but I did. I think it was a combo of her being bold enough to ask him in the first place, and his attitude and control. It was just a hott story all around IMO.

Power over Power, now that I remember the plot, was really exciting. (Some of the titles are much less memorable than the stories. But, better that the stories were so memorable, if we could only have one or the other.)
