Okay, everyone, I'd like to know something about tonight's attendees...

Who already has their store activated? Who is here to learn and ask questions, but is waiting to work on their store until later, or is just curious?? Please post saying whether you have a store ready to go, or are waiting until later / just curious.

I got slightly distracted.

I'm waiting to work on my store. If I can get my blog up and getting more traffic, I'm going to set up one for there, but if we ever do parties I'd like to have a store set up for that. So I'm waiting on opening one for now.

I have my own domain, my host is set up, but we are working to get it all together and the content and such. I'm working on the paperwork and just trying to make it all come together and ...here to learn how!

COnsider me confused and in need of straightening out.

I'm sorry about that, Shell, I didn't receive the Key for you today. I was hoping to have it to you by today But...the good thing about the forum is that you can reference it later.

And you can still do the categories and the Home Text Editor part. ^_^

Well, you'll get some good directions tonight and I'm here to answer questions along the way (both here in the workshop and later on during setup).

The hosting staff at HostGator are wonderful! They have been very patient with me. And I also received 20% off which was GREAT!

No worries at all. I'm still needing to go through the tutorial to work out how to add catagories so there's no rush. Plus I'm trying to get my toy box finished so my babies have somewhere nice to live instead of on the floor...lol.

I'll check them out. I haven't had good luck with a lot of my hosts in the past. I've been looking for a new one.

Overall I didn't find anything too difficult. There are a couple of things that you probably won't find with out a tutorial, but most things are easy after you have done it once.

That's great info, Shell I know a lot of people want to be sure to get a good host for their site and/or store.

I have only been with them a week but I have certainly put them to the test patience wise....hehe. I don't have any experience with hosting so I'm a little on the demanding side when it comes to needing help with such things.

Ok, a lot demanding...hehehe.

It's time for the first section, Section A, of the workshop:
Adding Products to your store from EdenFantasys

In this section, we will go through the steps of adding products to your store. In order to add products to your store, you need to have your Store ID and Key, and your store must be activated. Once your store is activated:

A1. Sign into your EdenFantasys account, and select “My Store” from the drop-down menu near the top right of your window. It will look like this:
My Store

The drop-down menu usually contains “Contributor” and/or “Affiliate.” With an Eden Personal Store, you get an extra way to browse EdenFantasys: the “My Store” mode. If your store isn't activated yet, you won't see the My Store option. That's okay. It will be visible after your store is activated.

Does anyone have questions about this step?
