I'm not sure what you mean. For Eden Personal Stores, you have to own your own domain and hosting, so you can't set up a store on a subdomain site like mysite(dot)blogger(dot )com.

If that wasn't what you were asking about, please clarify
Yes, that is what I meant, Thanks!

EXCELLENT response! Thank you. I love how precise you are. I completely understand. I love that there is a 180 day commission window. Do I still receive 20% the entire 180 days if my customers continue to buy or is it lowered slightly.

I probably won't do hand outs in all honesty. I'm about to go after some HUGE FISH online and make that 20% commission.

You could advertise your code as a coupon on Facebook, you could post links on your wall that include your affiliate link (they have the #pcode-XXX at the end), or you could use Facebook to link people to your blog, which would have more affiliate content on it.

We have two store programs at Eden. One is an onsite program, which lets you have a store that's kind of attached to your profile on Eden. The second, Eden Personal Stores, is a program for people who want to set up a store on their own website.

I'd be happy to help you with either program. Email partners@edenfantasys.com for more information about the store programs

Aww, thanks. I'm glad I can help.

Yup, the 20% is constant throughout the 180 period, and if they click your link again after that period, then you "get them" again for another 180 days.

It's time for the Orders Report! <---click the link to view your Orders Report

The Orders Report shows all orders placed through your links (or with your partner code) for the selected date range. Here's an example of an Orders Report:

Orders report

All Orders Reports show (from left to right) : the order number, the Program for the order (e.g. Online/Offline Affiliate), the net sale, when the order was placed, when it shipped, and the date of cancellation (if it gets canceled).

This specific example shows an order that is pending, meaning it hasn't shipped yet.

Just random question: If your customer happens to be a security freak, wouldn't clearing their cookies or cache "void" their 180 days?

Also. Another random question. I know we want to preserve our customer's privacy, but is there a way to see *what* someone bought? Not who, but I'd be curious to know if maybe my "OhMiBod review" brought in a lot of sales for OhMiBod vibes?

Are we involved in any way with problem orders or does Eden take care of that?

Thanks Kris, I thought the personal store was the one here/onsite. Thanks for offering to help me with them. I will let you know when I am ready to set it up.

I'm learning a lot! I'm trying to open a store but the whole 'host/domain' thing is really confusing. I have a blogger but I know I can't 'own' that. This is helping with the background info.

Sadly, if someone clears their cookies, I don't think Eden can know that the person picked up your link. So in that case, future purchases wouldn't generate affiliate commission for you.

More motivation to get people to click and buy right then!

I know you want to get through the REPORT features but I must quickly thank you in elaborating on "they click again, you get another 180 days".

I also like your response to some other peoples questions about two stores. It's all great info. while in my learning stages.

Sooo....right now we can't see what people bought through your links. I don't know if that's something we'll be providing in the future.

But! We are working on bringing you specific pages that generate hits for you, so that you could see the actual page on your Traffic report instead of just your blog's homepage. So you could know if a certain review generated a lot of traffic, or if your sexy tweets with links are doing the trick, etc.

Affiliates don't worry about problem orders. That's all Eden. Affiliates send customers to Eden, and Eden takes care of the rest We just want to let you know that an order was canceled, returned, etc. so it doesn't just disappear from your report.

Unfortunately the two store programs have essentially the same name, so there's been a bit of confusion between the two. No worries.

Here's another example of an Orders Report, which has two things I'd like to highlight.

1. It shows how a canceled order would appear on the report.
2. See those sales that are listed as $0.00? Those are most likely “Free Assignments” like review items. They still show up as orders if someone has your affiliate code in their browser's cookie. These $0.00 orders can sometimes clutter up the Orders Reports but they are nothing to worry about.

Canceled order

so can I get a affiliate code just to use on twitter? Or do I need to have a blog and be a reviewer?

Anyone can get an affiliate code! You don't need to be a reviewer or have a blog. Your code can be used on Twitter or a blog or anywhere you want.

Any questions about Orders reports?

Next up: Problem Orders

The Problem Orders report shows you any orders that were made through your links that were either canceled, returned, or exchanged. I don't really use this report much compared to the other ones. Here's an example of the report layout:

Problem orders

If you don't have any Problem Orders for the specified date range, the report will just be empty.
